I just don't get the point of professional sports. I get the spirit behind College sports, though. I go to plenty of Mizzou football games.

Yes, sometimes I bitch about pro sports but it does give millions of people a job. Still, the athletes are overpaid and they think they are above the law.

For example, I'm from St. Louis, but the best player is from Puerto Rico. And many are from other areas of this country, Cuba, Mexico, etc. NONE of them are from St. Louis.

Good point. The Montreal Canadiens used to make a point of having many players from the province (Quebec). Now they don't, and I don't follow the Canadiens anymore...
