THIS IS NOT THE FINAL VERSION OF MYLO XYLOTO?

Featured Replies

Certain songs (like PoC and HLH), that may be true, others, we can't be sure?

guys, the iTunes version of the songs have been posted in this thread

its the same version as the leaked

Is it just me, or does EMI in Central America always say stupid shit?

I will continue listening to the leaked version, but it's better to wait until the album comes out to confirm whether they are the final versions or not ;)

The madness as in people certain the leaked version isn't final. It is as the Itunes versions prove.

Ok, sorry about that. ;)

haha that's true :P

haha that's true :P

Well maybe it's not the final.. I'm hoping just because of this stupid HLH ... :bigcry:

Don't you guys just miss the original Mylo thread?

ahhh...Those were the days

Lol.

The 'Us Against The World' link in the PasteBin doesn't seem to be working for me?

Even if the leaked version is just a promo, I will still listen to the final version.

Because I just love Coldplay that much. ;)

well, it seems then that we are pretty sure the leaked version is the final version, which makes me really disappointed. I'm sorry but the are too many flaws, especially regarding volume levels and Chris's almost impossible to hear voice in some tracks.

There's still the possibility that we just have a badly ripped version with just bad sound quality and some songs may be cut a bit. Whatever it is, I really hope the sound quality of the final product is EXTREMELY improved.

iTunes versions sound a lot cleaner than the leaked version I have...

The only track that bothers me is Hurts Like Heaven. I was sure it was going to be my favorite, but it just doesn't sound like it was mixed well.

the volume levels thing is so true!

the volume levels thing is so true!

The Volume is a lot better on the iTunes Version, at least for the leaked versions I had.

I suspect there is more than one leaked version, as someone actually thinks that iTunes tracks are the same as the leaked ones and some others don't..

yeah the Itunes version is more louder and as thus, some parts sound more crisp, clean and clear

other than that, its the same

Nothing that big, I can wait a week for my Itunes release....this leak will be fine till then

Yes, it's in fact, a bit better ;)

illegal downloading effects record sales. just read billboard, you really think the top album of the week sells 100,000 copies? earlier this year, in jan, feb and march, you had tom of top albums of the week selling something like 70,000 copies.

yes, they will be selling about of records, but i think most people get music illegally nowadays, rightly or wrongly. its effected album sales, clearly.

EMI, views illegal downloaders as criminals who deserve to be fined millions of dollars or who deserve to be thrown in jail. The entire industry or at least the Record labels, the majors feel this way as well. the fact they view downloaders the same way they viewed them over a decade ago is all the evidence you need.

EMI has a vested interest in making sure more people buy it than download it. The leak spread like wildfire, and i think thats indicative of how most people hear and consume music in 2011. The fact that EMI have created such a murky cloud for some of you, seems to me, bizaare and strange given what we know about labels and filesharing.

Occupy EMI!

I get what you are saying and you are right that it is illegal to download music. It doesn't change the fact that music was and is meant to be shared. Ive been given many albums and mix tapes that I never paid a cent for. Some of those songs and albums became favorites and I later decided to purchase future albums from those acts. T-shirts and concert ticket too... Some laws make no sense, some folks want to know what they are buying...

Yes, it's in fact, a bit better ;)

It's ALOT better for DLIBYH.

I don't think so? Maybe we have different leaked versions :smug:
