I wanna hear the iTunes streaming of POC, is it on YouTube?

Oh my God people we have the final version.EMI are trying to protect their revenue by saying this. The versions are all the same!

I couldn't really discern a massive amount of difference between the leak and the radio versions, but I did notice little changes..... now...

 

When I've listened to the album, it does seem to me that there are a couple of things which could be improved upon (I'm talking about quality/editing, not lyrics/Rhianna, I'm NOT getting sucked into THAT insane debate).

 

HOWEVER, for it to "leak" now, a couple of days before its first official release, and not a couple of weeks ago, leads me to believe that this is a legit copy, ripped off one of the thousands of CD's currently sitting in shop store rooms.

 

One reason the radio tracks MIGHT sound different is because music played on the radio is highly compressed before/during a broadcast. This can alter some tracks sound quite dramatically sometimes, which is why the radio versions might sound different to the "leaked" versions.

 

Again, I'm not saying whether the leak is or isn't the final copy, I would just be very surprised if, at this stage, there was a different copy somewhere.

This is EXACTLY what I was trying to explain earlier, it sounded allot sharper on the radio, but on the listen again online, much the same.

This. Radio versions always sound different because if the compression. This whole unfinished album stuff is absurd!! Its quite clearly finished and mixed perfectly.

On the forum where I got the leak, the uploader had actually posted this pic of the CD case and actual CD (which does not look like a promo copy but the real thing)...this is whats making me think it might be the final version... :thinking:

its split 50/50. you have EMI saying its not the final version, and you have many on here claiming, that because the cd has mistakes its not final, and some on here say the BBC version that they played is different to the one we have. yet on the flip side, you have

the fact that many folks say the BBC version is exactly the same, only better quality, higher quality. And you have the fact that it seems unlikely this close to the release, that their would be someone who leaked a promo album, but not the real version. why would 7 days out, a promo be leaked but not the real album. Also, the status of BBC's leak, or streaming is also the question of the hour. It seems highly unlikely the BBC would play a promo of an album, with the band right there in studio. The date for this album has been set for awhile. I dont think they would play a promo. they'd play the real one or nothing at all. what artist would allow the promo to be heard and judged? Gweneth didnt even have a copy until was it yesterday?

The HLH version we've heard is what has me convinced it is not the finalized version...though that pic is pretty convincing, we'll see I guess.

I agree with the HLH thing. But I think U.F.O. is ok, I mean, the end has some chinesse stuff, that fits with Princess Of China.
