Us Against the World. I actually can't listen to it very much because it's so great it makes me emotional. And keep in mind, I'm not an emotional person. The first Coldplay song I can really identify with.

 

And I disliked the live version. Weird. The studio version really shocked me.

 

UWTB is my second-fave. So diverse. And I also like POC. Too much Rihanna, but it sounds like a Coldplay song: The structure, the instrumentation, the world-music influences.

In my opinion, Part 1 of the album is better. In Part 1, there is CB, HLH, MX (great instrumental), and ETIAW. Although Part 2 has PoC, UiF, UWTB and the instrumental that is AHT. But overall, I think Part 1 is better. Hard choice mind.

I think Part 2 has a lot more depth than part 1 has.

I am totally agreed with the bands progress but I need to say that DLIBYH and UWTB really sound like the "Old Coldplay" they surprised me in a good way. By the other hand HLH is still taking some time to pass through my throat(it WAS my favorite). PoC is addicting. Charlie Brown sounds like it's in the wrong place. So

Well I love HLH and CB so I'd say Part 1.

I actually like both versions of HLH

I went with part 1. I just love HLH, CB and UATW also MX as well as an intro. Paradise would be my least favourite song on part 1 and 2nd least on the whole album. Can't wait to get an actual physical copy of it on friday now

I was thinking about this yesterday, and I find IMPOSSIBLE to pick one of the 2 parts as a winner upon the other.

They are both equally GREAT.

Part 2 has 3 stinkers: Major Minus, Up In Flames and Princess of China

Without a doubt, part 2!

I cant really choose.

Because Part 1 got MX/HLH/CB/UATW i love them.

But in Part 2 i love all Songs except for Major Minus.

I think i vote Part 2.

Well, part one has great tunes (HLH is my favorite of the album), but I find the part two the most emotional, amazing and stunning :)

I guess I'm the only one who thinks that there are 3 parts, all 3 of them start with an intro.

After only one listen (dying over here but I'm waiting for my copy :bomb:), part two. Even though part 1 has HLH and part 2 POC...
