Brent
To be honest, I like the cheerful Chris and everything, but Coldplay is best when they are depressed.

42JTR
To be honest, I like the cheerful Chris and everything, but Coldplay is best when they are depressed. This! Sometimes I think chris is a little too happy, for example steve jobs memorial, a little weird if you ask me.

ColdplayingfromKansas
Dear God, this. Give me dark rocky songs like Politik, Violet Hill, Major Minus, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, Spies, Twisted Logic, Cemeteries Of London, Yes, God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, How You See The World, or Prospekt's March anyday. If Coldplay's next album is anything like that then I will die of happiness. /fangirl mode off
LauCH
I soooo agree with what you just said. All the songs you named, they're almost all my favourites from Coldplay. This album would be the best. They did something to get new fans and try new things (MX) now they should get back to AROBTTH and VLVODAAHF. That's what fans like. I mean, some dislike MX but nobody really dislike the rock version of Coldplay. :)

The Philosopher
Can you imagine an album like this? : 1. Shiver 2. Yellow 3. Politik 4. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face 5. I Ran Away 6. 1.36 7. White Shadows 8. Low 9. Cemeteries of London 10. 42 11. Violet Hill 12. MX/Hurts Like Heaven 13. Charlie Brown 14. Major Minus 15. Don't Let It Break Your Heart Well maybe this would be way too much rockier, and maybe would have to find other songs a little softer to make some balance. :D
Clocks In My Place
I like me some deep melancholia rock a la AROBTTH but I think Mylo Xyloto is refreshing and has more elements of the melodies and lyrics I respond the most to than VLVODAAHF. :) To be honest, I like the cheerful Chris and everything, but Coldplay is best when they are depressed. Haha, this. I love AROBTTH.
