I can remember downloading VLV onto my iPod and walking through the woods in the snow whilst listening to this song. Surreal. Almost magical it was. Can you remember where you were the first time you ever heard Violet Hill? :)

I was listening to the BBC Radio when it premiered on there. Back then YouTube wasn't that reliable. It would be a couple of hours before somebody posted a video of Violet Hill. Nowadays, who actually listened to BBC Radio when Paradise Premiered? I didn't.....

I remember arriving home and turning on the computer and the first thing i've heard was an amazing piano cover of the song and then I listened to the song and loved it! The best of VLVODAAHF for me! It has a lot of strength and the melody is beautiful, it's just perfect! :D

Very cool, you guys!! This song is undoubtedly one of Coldplay's at their VERY best...but then again, rare is it that Coldplay doesn't deliver 100% in everything. :) <3

I was on a small bus when I heard Violet Hill. I can't remember where I was going at the time, but it was near evening and I was almost home.

Me it's was in the TV channel with the music video. My favorite Coldplay video of the group. So deep, creative and very dark and expressive video. The video express perfectly the ambiance and the mood of the song.
