I could be wrong, but I think Roadie #42 only did those for the outdoor gigs. At least I never saw one for the first leg of arena dates.

is that an empty part of the floor in the middle on Guy's side?

It's not very clear, but to me the shape/layout looks like it's a gap due to the setup of the aisles/floor areas. There doesn't appear to be seating in the empty part, and it's highly unusual that unsold seats would be so perfectly clustered together.

EDIT: I'm confused now, because other photos don't seem to show a gap in that area at all.

There weren't any on the first leg of the U.S., no.

that must be it. in all the other pictures it looks full

Maybe everyone got up from their seats and moved towards the X-stage?

that's what I was thinking too. cause I see the seats now and the area closer to the X-Stage look crowded

that must be it. in all the other pictures it looks full

It's on the side the C stage is on. Perhaps it's the aisle the band use to get up there and back. It's really weird, because I can't even see the gap in any other photos.:\

:laugh3:

"Guys I don't think they are coming back out"-- said no one at any concert ever #Coldplay #encore

Except the band are on the main stage in the photo. You can clearly see their follow spots.

EDIT: This photo shows the same area as full:

Well, he started doing them for the stadiums in europe. Doesn't mean he won't do something for the arenas ;)

Great... Amazing Concert!!! They Sounded Really Good!!

It Was The Same Usual Setlist!

Didn't mean to say he wouldn't, only that he hadn't before.
