Rain actually makes pictures more beautiful. I know it wasn't much fun to them and the audience but pics are magical

if it's like previous tours, then there are at least 2 versions of the stage and 2 sets of roadies. whilst the prep for last night's show was happening, the other stage & set were being set up at the next venue

 

So that just makes it even more crazy!

Unless it's raining cats and dogs, a little bit of rain here and there is more than ok. It keeps the audience fresh, and makes the light show even more spectacular. Back in October, at the Unstaged show in Madrid, it rained slightly and mainly during Yellow, The Scientist and Fix You. And believe me, the rain made it all much more special and unforgettable.

 

There will be slight showers tomorrow in Madrid as well, and I appreciate that :) Temperatures have been consistently above 33ºC for the whole week so a little bit of spring weather will be fine!

there are at least 3 versions of the stage because they already began to set it up in Nice 2 days ago. I'm going to try to find the article when I read that.

Okay , so I dont regret not go to the Nice or the Paris Gig this summer. Always this synthethic setlist, always less than 20 songs ... And seriously, they need to have as many fireworks?

No way..it should be the best band in the world, the most selling one, they have 5 albums plus bsides between which to choose, they could do astonishing and long powerful gigs, but they limit the whole thing to a 20 songs less then 2 hours show, playing mostly overknown songs, no pearl, no surprise, no one change. They are my favorite band since always, i've always been a die hard fan, but they are going on Making me getting mad. I keep trusting them and loving them and their shows, but for how long? Nothing to do, they have chosen this way, I keep on laughing and watching old live videos. Tuesday at Nice I'll just have fun for a huge coulored show, I'll not "open up my eyes" jumping and shouting politik like I've done for years listening to the music firstly and watching the show secondly, i'll just enjoy the show firstly, the music secondly. :)

 

But I don't think this is what we should expect from such a great band, such great musicians....

Actually, if the inclusion of Speed of Sound is correct, then the only setlist the same as this one would be the second Hollywood Bowl one. It may only be one song different to the rest of the ones we've seen so far this year, but I think it's a little harsh to call it the 'same old same old' setlist when they've at least added one song. It would be nice if they could play a few more songs, yes, but it looks like the most variation we're gonna see is different songs being played on the C-Stage.
