August 28, 201114 yr WAT. :freak: -flips shit- I'm making a personal promise to myself that this song is the first thing I look up on YouTube when I start school again on Monday. I HAVE TO SEE THIS. OK, so I saw it today. CHRIS. MARRY ME. NAO. DJFAKSDFAJKSDLBFJLASDBFASJKLDNASDFASDFNKALSDNFAKLSDFNASKDNFAS. <3
August 28, 201114 yr I found a low quality stream here, but it's better than nothing! http://nowwatchtvlive.com/tag/live-stream-of-bbc-three/ :hugs: and i think BBC uses GMT time which is an hour plus too London time [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvMarQKvBk0&feature=player_embedded]Muse Matt & Dom Reading 2011 Interview[/ame]
August 28, 201114 yr after installing that proxy thing in my other computer and trying to use it for 30 minutes, it works :cheesy: at first it was very slow but now it's perfect. Elbow is on now
August 28, 201114 yr Ok so I just got home from a friend - any links for streaming sites? :D Edit: never mind.
August 28, 201114 yr Ignoring Reading is happening r/n. No TV in new house and I still has hell loads of unpacking to do. Will watch it tomorrow night whilst cleaning or summatt.
August 28, 201114 yr Aw I had to go drop my dog off and I missed it. edit: apparently bbc3 never broadcast it? :wreck: look at all the hate they're getting on their facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/bbcthree my favorite is "The day Musers took over BBC three. BURN IN HELL YEAH YOU WILL BURN IN HELL FOR YOUR SINS!"
August 29, 201114 yr Wow. My Twitter suddenly got really popular after my string of BBC hate. Like 100+ retweets of stuff. Hahahaha. Of course, now they're trying to blame Muse and say it was their idea. I have difficulty believing that since even the earlier acts got only partial sets shown. I want official word from the band themselves.
August 29, 201114 yr I made some of these RTs, I was laughing so much when I read all the tweets
August 29, 201114 yr Considering muse spent the time to let all their fans know that bbc3 would be streaming it, I seriously doubt the band had ANY say in the stream being canceled. Just watched Megalomania, Hyper Music, and Whats He Building from Leeds finally, and I lost it. Was shaking and I'll admit, crying. ;~; /get a life christina
August 29, 201114 yr Still mad about yesterday... Hopefully the reason for not showing is a DVD release. :D:D
August 29, 201114 yr I am back from Leeds Festival and if I am honest...Muse were disappointing! :( Now...Muse are one of my favourite bands and when I saw them in September, they blew my mind!!! However this performance didn't and I feel really sad to say this :( During New Born and Bliss I was pushed about by the crowd lots and I got crushed, I had to move back where I had a terrible view of the stage! And although I love Origin of Symmetry...some of the songs such as Megalomania just didn't work live :/ I did enjoy it but it was disappointing...
August 29, 201114 yr I heard the crowd at both fests was the worst thing ever. My long-time barrier friends ended up getting pulled out at Leeds and waited toward the back for Reading and ended up having a better time there because of it. I don't know how much validity this has, but I've heard a few people say that Reading/Leeds typically have a much more immature crowd than other festivals like Glastonbury because they're typically many kids' first festival and attract more party-seeking teenagers than Glasto. Again, don't know how true that is.
August 29, 201114 yr ^ Very true. With Glasto being earlier in the season most teenagers are still in school/college doing their exams-- so the audience tend to be university age and above. Reading being in the summer means that the other younger audiences can go, it's also easier to get to via train than Glasto. And it is also cheaper. Audience tends to be 90% 16-25
August 29, 201114 yr So the Resistance tour is officially over. Now we have nothing to talk about in this thread for at least 12 months. Uh...favorite tour memories, anyone?
August 29, 201114 yr My concert, Nijmegen 19th June 2010. One of the best setlists Muse did during the whole tour (don't count R&L now) :Uprising Supermassive Black Hole New Born Map of the Problematique MK Ultra Bliss Guiding Light Hysteria Nishe United States Of Eurasia Feeling Good MK Jam Undisclosed Desires Resistance Starlight Time Is Running Out Unnatural Selection Encore: Citizen Erased Stockholm Syndrome Encore 2: Take A Bow Plug In Baby Knights of Cydonia Still can't describe the feeling I had when Citizen Erased started. I was a bit disappointed with Bliss, because I knew then CE wouldn't been played. And on the moment I awaited Exogenesis there was CE, still can't describe the feeling.
August 29, 201114 yr I went to Leeds, full of mud and soaked. I had to wash my trousers twice as they were so dirty.
August 29, 201114 yr My concert, Nijmegen 19th June 2010. One of the best setlists Muse did during the whole tour (don't count R&L now) Bliss + CE in one show = Sexiness. Got Bliss and CE over here too but not in the same show. Anywhere I can watch the festival set now, or am I too late..? BBC is removing all recordings of their stream on Youtube (BASTARDS), but they didn't even show the whole set. They showed New Born and Bliss and then skipped to the post-Origin set.
August 30, 201114 yr ^ I'm looking at this BBC iPlayer recording, it sucks not to see the entirety of OoS. THAT'S WHAT THE MUSERS WANTED TO SEE. I can't believe they skipped to the second half of the set like that. Bitches. Anyway, my tour highlight obviously is Wembley night 1. Yeah, the setlist wasn't brilliant... But, I finally got to see them, which always stands out :awesome:
August 30, 201114 yr Personal highlights: - Seeing Muse live for the 1st time...and for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th times. :laugh3: - Meetings tons of awesome people from around the world - Finding travel excuses - Getting some pretty decent setlists compared to most of the crap they played in North America - Meeting Dom, meeting Matt, meeting Dom a 2nd time and not caring, and meeting Chris - Harassing Tom Kirk repeatedly  - Blowing thousands and thousands of dollars on tickets, merch, and travel
