  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

Yeah, and it also means that I never will. :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry:

If he's at all serious, he probably is referring to songs that haven't been played in years anyway, like Darkshines, Hyper Music, and Space Dementia. Songs that, you know, I WANT TO HEAR ARRRRRGH. :bomb:

I really don't want to see the end of Bliss and Citizen Erased, though. (Still need to see CE anyway) The band knows for a fact that they're hardcore favorites that they pump out on occasion just for the sake of blowing the roof off.

hope you can see CE live, it was definitely the best moment of my concert in 2008... well, Dead star was a great one too :wacky:

Well, we know Matt won't drop Feeling Good, so it's all good. :P

I've bought tickets for Leed Festival. Never been there yet. Last time for OOS i've read. It's their best album.:shocked2:

"Frontman Matt Bellamy said that the band want to mark the 10-year anniversary of 'Origin Of Symmetry''s release in some way at the shows.

"It's probably the last time some of these songs will ever be played live again," he said of the 2001 album. He explained that the shows would see the band "drawing a line under one phase of our career".

He added: "It was on the second album ['Origin...'] that things really started happening for the band, and when we focused on the live side of things much more. So it'll be like coming full circle: we've gone off on one a little bit, and now it feels like the right time to pull it back and remind ourselves of what we were doing 10 years ago." "

WHAAAAAAATTT????????

:bigcry:

But I've never seen Bliss or Hyper Music. . . :cry2:

Although I have seen Citizen Erased, so I guess I can't complain too much

:bigcry:

I think Bliss wasn't played live for a long time and they only added it to the setlist again, because the fans kept moaning about the setlists ... I wouldn't worry too much ... they'll probably give in again when the fans start complaining again. :P

Yeah, but remember that European setlist poll last year? A huge variety of tracks were requested from their back catalog, yet only Bliss and CE made it out of the jumble, and even then, those were only at a handful of shows.

Truth be told, I take a lot of what Muse - especially Matt - says with a grain of salt. (I do the same thing with what Coldplay members say. :P)

Hmm, Ruled by Secrecy was played in Wembs too though, so even if those songs won't be a regular part of the setlists anymore, they probably get played again on some "special" occasions.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry: I still want to hear New Born, Bliss and Feeling Good live!!!! :bomb: I think I'm going to cry!! :( Why don't they drop NSC...I could live without that one :shifty: I kind of hate Matt a little bit right now :lol: (Who am I kidding...I can't hate him :disappointed:)

How I see it is that he means they might play songs such as Space Dementia, Micro Cuts, Hyper Music, that they rarely play anyway, and will be the last time. I can't see him dropping every song from OoS.

They can't drop Plug In Baby!! NOT PLUG IN BABY!! :bomb:

"We’re going to try and set up the whole stage like the ‘Origin Of Symmetry’ cover, and have those weird, crooked, Tim Burton-style antenna’s - or goalposts, or whatever they really are - onstage, and try to bring that whole cover to life, to create a 3D version of it." - Dom, in the new NME

^^ That sounds so cool :surprised: I can't wait to see that :awesome:

I certainly hope not. :bigcry:

But still, Hyper Music! :freak:

"Hyper Music" is the worst track on that album.

/opinion.

Needless to say, I'm bummed out that this MIGHT be the last time some OOS songs are played live. (Space Dementia, Darkshines . . . BLISS :bigcry: ). I highly doubt they'll stop playing New Born and/or Plug In Baby. Or will they? :blank:

At the same time, I'm ridiculously excited for these gigs and can't wait to see what songs they'll play. :awesome:

. . . we were talking for a while about doing some sort of B-sides set, or playing stuff that we haven't played for a long time.

PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN ONE DAY.
