  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

^That would be seriously awesome, I hope they do. :wacky:

As do I. I have to ask my brother to keep an eye out for line-up announcements and the tickets because I'm at work :bigcry:

Would it be considered blasphemous for me to say that I don't, never have, and never will find Dom attractive? :ninja:

Yep. But each to their own :P

Y'know what I really want them to do next week...?

Announce that they are headlining one of the days at Reading. :awesome:

it would be awesome if they do play at reading and Leeds festival:cool:

yes it is :shocked2:

but then i don't find matt goodlooking :uhoh2:

Any news on new music?

I'm hoping that they'll release their 7th studio album (I consider the Hullabaloo soundtrack an album) sometime this year or next year.

I don't think so...:\ Probably only next year...

I've already bought my ticket for Leeds Festival! It will be great to see them again! :D

No, no news. Except Matt said that they'll probably record the bulk of it in London.

And as much as I'd love a 2011 or 2012 release, most likely early 2013 will be when it's released. :\

Although late 2012 is a possibility. Matt said they're aiming for the tail end of 2012, but even he thinks 2013 will be the year.

:awesome: The pair of them are always amazing. I am so excited for line-up announcements even if it is going to be highly unlikely I will get a weekend pass. A day would suit me I guess

Apparently NME leaked that My Chemical Romance, Muse and The Strokes are headlining Reading and Leeds.

They could headline Optimus Alive too (I'm going to this one in july) Although the probability of this is very low :disappointed:

5 days :awesome:

sorry I post that much about this, I'm really excited and I'll go crazy any second now

:D:D:D Is it weird that I'm excited for you!! haha :dance: You will have so much fun!!

too bad I won't have internet access in the stadium, but will try to tweet after Muse from my cellphone :wacky: (there's no way I could tweet in the middle of the gig :P)

Tut-tut NME! :p

That's cool then... Looking at that, I might just go for the Muse day. I will have already seen The Strokes at Benni and I don't much fancy seeing MCR.

Of course, this may all change depending on the other acts that are there... :P

All I know is that this time tomorrow it will all be out in the open

^^:wideeyed:

^You should try to go! :awesome:

No good festivals here. :disappointed: *shakes head in disappointment*

Haha, I'm pretty sure I cluttered up this thread with countdowns to my own shows, so it's perfectly okay. :laugh3:

Lollapalooza's early bird passes need to go on sale already. You save like 40 bucks doing early bird. Apparently the full line-up won't be released until the end of April, but I'm already super anxious.

Fly to Lolla. That's what I'm doing.

lolla there should be cheap like here so everyone could go :awesome: I spent 120 dollars in a two day pass :awesome:

Yeah, I wish. :disappointed:

I don't have the money or the permission. :|

Ooh nice Lore! I don't think Lolla Chicago is quite that cheap, but it's not as much as say...Coachella, which cost me $320 for a pass and hundreds more for lodging. Lolla will end up being even more for me since I'm spending $400 on a round-trip flight on top of a hotel and pass. Altogether these festivals are like all the money I've made in the past 2 years, but seeing as how I graduate next year and will have to start working full-time, it's basically my final year that I actually have time to go as insanely wild with live music as I want. Going out with a BANG.

Then again, once I start working full-time, I can probably afford attending the next Wembley. :laugh3:

 Awww. That totally sucks. One day though you will be able to totally do the whole US festival scene... Or even, you never know, one might come into existence in your area. Festivals are being born all the time!

$320?! :shocked2: That's like just under £200! That's so expensive especiall without it having lodging included. I get the feeling that Reading is going to be £180-£200 this year but you get camping included in that at least! (Funny how when my Dad went to Reading it cost him £30 for three days. So lucky!) $400 is just, you know, extortionate amounts of money!!

I'm doing pretty much the same though. I'm doing all my festivals whilst at uni because after getting a real job-- I probably will have more of the funds... But not the time :( This year I'm doing: Great Escape (in Brighton), Benicassim (Spain) and Reading (UK)... The year after my friends and I have decided to buy ourselves a campervan and tour around Europe doing festivals which will probably need me to sell half my organs to afford but

That sounds SO AWESOME!!!!! :o I would love to be able to do something like that one day :D:D:D It must be lots of fun!! :D
