  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

I love used CD's, I got And The Glass Handed Kites by Mew for $4 used. :wacky:

That's good that it's not damaged though.

nice album :wacky:

Thanks. :wacky:

It was a real steal because the store was going out of business the next day. :awesome: I also got a Coldplay poster for $2.

This may sound like I'm really cheap, and that's because I am.

So, on top of it being my birthday today (21, WOOO :awesome:), today is my 4-year anniversary of being a Muser. :wacky: I (finally) bought my own copy of "The Resistance" to celebrate. :awesome:

Ionno. I just thought I'd share.

awwwww  :)

Thanks, Lore. :wacky:

:dance::dance: :D

Super congrats Violet! :cheesy:

It must be nice to legally drink now too. :P

(Not saying that you illegally drink :uhoh:)

pffft, why would you drink anything else when there's milk?

That's true, I drink some milk. But I don't like just drinking plain milk. :P

I'm not supposed to have milk. But whatever, I like my cereal dry anyway. :P

BTW, last night a bunch of Musers and I got unbelievably drunk on Skype and it was awesome. (This week is my spring break, and since alcohol is banned on campus, it's the one time during the semester when I can actually drink.) There was undignified singing and we kept laughing at stupid jokes about Dom's sexuality (we firmly believe that Dom's now more of a man than Matt after Matt was shown on American Idol and thereby lost his last ounce of masculinity).

Thank you! :wacky:

 It's OK. I will say that I'm one of only a few people who have never done any underage drinking. I'm actually very proud of that accomplishment. :nice: Anyway, I haven't had anything to drink yet; however, one of my friends talked to me last night about holding a celebration for me two weekends from now or something. (We would do it this next weekend, but I'll be out of town that weekend.) I refuse to get wasted; turning 21 isn't an excuse for me to do something completely stupid.

Are you lactose intolerant?

That sounds like it was a lot of fun. :P

Good point though!

Wow, nice job with that!

Smart idea. It's never fun to be hungover (from what I hear:P), it's better to enjoy a drink or two and not be drunk. :nice:

I've kind of had a drink or two. . . let me see. . . I have a glass of champagne every New Year's, and I had a glass of champagne at my cousin's wedding and when I first met my cousins in Germany. . . and then yesterday my parents let me have a really tiny glass of beer. Their feeling is that if my brother and I have a little bit of alcohol now we won't feel the need to go crazy when we have access to alcohol at parties or whatever. And all the drinks I have had have been under parental supervision and all. :P

Yeah, I think I only drank just once or twice prior to turning 21, and even on my 21st birthday, I didn't get that hammered. Unfortunately, because I refused to get stupidly drunk on my 21st birthday, I was ridiculed by a bunch of "friends" I invited for being a pansy (don't worry, they aren't my friends anymore :nice:). They're the same people who regularly drank in the dorms against campus policies, and recently moved off campus just so they could get plastered every night and not study. Dumbasses.

Most of my friends on campus now are non-drinkers, so I don't have that problem anymore. I can't say the same about my Muser friends (NSC is not a good song, but when you're drunk, it's an awesome song), but at least they're not jerks when it comes to drinking pressure because Musers are actually cool. :D

Meh, some people are just too stupid. :|

Hahaha oh, some of the Musers on .mu are just crazy. (in a good way) :D

I just found this video, really wonderful:

Especially because Frankie Valli is like one of my favorite singers and I even saw Jersey Boys on Broadway and this is like one of my favorite songs by them and yeah Matt sang it really well and stuff. :cheesy:

I love that thread. :wacky: <3

But my favorite is the Lolz thread, the PDT and the PMT. :wacky:

And don't be embarrassed. :P

Me too! Even if I don't have the money to buy the same clothes they wear, it's still really fun to look at.

I need to catch up on the Lolz thread soon.

Heh, thanks. :nice: This is why I like you Musers. :wacky:

Well, for me, it's more about how I'm afraid of the things I'd end up doing if I were drunk. I don't want to find out. :uhoh:

Wow. Your parents are much more chill about drinking than mine. I'm legal now, and although my mom knows she can't really stop me, she told me that A. if I do drink, she doesn't want to know about it, B. I'm not allowed to drink in her presence, and C. I'm not allowed to bring alcohol of any sort into the house. :|

Hmph. Some "friends" they were. :shifty:

Yeah, that's what I really like about my group of friends. I've been asked before if I wanted anything, and all I had to do was say, "No, I'm not comfortable with that," and they'd say, "OK, that's fine" and be done with it. I've never been pressured into doing anything. Even better, I was talking to this friend of mine about what we'd do, and I brought up to him how I refused to get drunk, and he was like, "Yeah, that's fine. Maybe one, and that's it. We'll take care of everything; don't worry."

It's awesome, really. :wacky:

I laughed so much while reading that hahahaha

I don't drink alcohol because I don't like the taste  I prefer natural juices (God, I sound like a sissy )

hahaha My parent are like that...but in the other day I was kind of scared  My dad and I were talking about alcohol, drugs and stuff like that and he said "You know...if you ever want to try weed I can give to you" I was like :lol::lol: because I tought he was kidding, but he wasn't :| lol

:surprised:

My parents never gave me the whole alcohol/drugs talk. That was left to my older cousin. All the friends I hang out with are considered "goody-two-shoes", though. I can't imagine one of them getting drunk.

My other friend is sure that if I were to ever get drunk, I'd be a "happy drunk", going around and hugging random people, telling them "I love you!" :blank:

LOL me and my parents talk about almost everything :wacky:

hahahaha Most of my friends drink, some of them get drunk, smoke and some of them actually smoke weed, but they are all great people and respect me for being the one that doesn't do any of those things

 My friends are that kind of drunk hahaha Once I went to a birthday party and the host got drunk and started dancing with everyone and then she hugged me and said "You're such a nice person!" (with a drunken voice):lol:
