Stolen Wristbands

Featured Replies

Sorry if there already is another thread about this but Jason just tweeted this:

"Jayreg1969: Busy and Head has lots going on deal with !!! someone stole wristbands too selling on EBay not pleased -- no more helpers at gigs now !!!"

That's just sad. Could he catch the thief, perhaps with help from the police and eBay?:(

No more helpers at gigs? That sucks. :\

Stupid w@nkers!

That really sucks, you can't trust ANYONE these days.. :(

Pfff... Those people are so ridiculous and stupid :( you really can't trust anyone

Oh come on, WHAT THE FUCK! That's just unbelievably shameless! That's totally unfair to everybody that really wants to help the band getting the wristbands ready for the gig :(

ugh, people always just have to go and ruin a nice thing don't they? :(

I was so looking forward to going early and helping out when they come to town:angry:

34 vs. 20.000 per show. Oh well...

I think I didn't understand sth: That means people who don't work for Coldplay or for the venue were previously able to help with the wristbands? :stunned: and now everything is ruined

^^ The problem is the principle. Jason Regler is very proud of the xylobands and the fact that they give them away to the fans. And it means 34 fans could have enjoyed them for free and didn't! So, maybe over 20 000 people per show it's not huge, but still, for the principle of it, it sucks

I don't understand really. People who do not work for Coldplay were able to help people with the wristbands at the venues? Does that just mean they handed them out?

Yes, the crew would ask like the first 15 people waiting in front of the venue to help them with the wristbands (and let them enter earlier than every one when they would have finished). And I was really motivated to go as early as possible to do so!

It's not just that, it's the fact that now the people/fans who come early for the gig to get the chance helping activate the wristbands (and get into the arena a few hours earlier!) can't do this anymore. :(

No, they activated the wristbands by...I don't know how to say that...you know, like you activate stuff that glows in the dark...

Oh really? I didn't know that !! Well I would have loved to do that, too. :(

Clearly I get it it's about the principle, I'm just sayin they shouldn't flip out over 34 xylobands.

I've seen some of the fans write here that they took one of each color...

P.S. What if someone bought them from fans after some show and sold them on Ebay?

*cough* :sweatdrop:

Over the time I now I feel really guilty and consider giving away most of them (although we really actually worked 4 hours to get them). But I'd never even THINK about selling the wristbands, that's just absolutely outrageous!
