34 vs. 20.000 per show. Oh well...

Still....... Have they no sense of decency? Where's the Coldplay spirit?

25 € and 30 € ???

But they got them for free, that's such a shame !!! Stupid people !!!

Don't believe a word it's just us against the world.

This is pure shit (sorry for the word, i'm just really angry!) what the fuck people?! i mean, they gave the oportunity of helped them and you just go and stole the fucking wristbands!!! When i though that some people couldn't be more stupid :veryangry2:

I just don't understand why you would pay 30 euros for a bracelet which is originally for free. Don't get me wrong, as a mega Coldplay fan I'm really happy with mine, but for me it also has some emotional value because I actually wore mine during a concert and saw with my own eyes how awesome it was.

Just keep the money in your pocket and actually buy a concert ticket so you'll get your OWN Xyloband and see it's magic live during the best evening of your life! ;)

I don't get why they would want to buy one in the first place. I mean, we all love ours because it gave us great vibes during the concert and we keep it after the concert because of that, and because of the memories.

But to people who were'nt even at any of their latest concerts, it's just quite useless no? It doesn't even work anymore. I wonder if they understand that? Maybe some people think you can just turn it on and off?

Don't get me wrong, I get that you want one, but I don't get that you'd want to pay for it. Especially noy that kind of money

Why would anyone waste their money on buying them? I'd love to get one, but I know it's not worth wasting $30-40 on them.

Not to mention it won't flash anymore. What's the point?

What a "nice" way to mess this up for anyone else that wanted to help..

Bleh, just reminds me of all the scummish people in the world.

And those buying prices are pretty out there..

lol Coldplay didn't expect this?

people are greedy. not exactly news

This is just sad. Annoying and sad. I'm really mad at the person who did this right now. :veryangry2:

I was totally planning on arriving early and helping with the xylobands.

34 have been sold, no one knows how many this guy still has...

*cough* :sweatdrop:

Over the time I now I feel really guilty and consider giving away most of them (although we really actually worked 4 hours to get them). But I'd never even THINK about selling the wristbands, that's just absolutely outrageous!

This makes me ANGRY 414218.gif

I took more then one as well, aka 6 total. But I gave away 4 of them. One is mine and one for my mother who went with me. Selling is a thing I would never do though!

Exactly.. It´s weird and shouldnt happen. But like Megalomania says, people are greedy..

Hope they read this thread and know what shit they are. :glasses:

How does he know it was one of the helpers, as opposed to some unscrupulous person working at the venue? That's a pretty big assumption to make. I would think the type of person that doesn't really care about the sentimental value of it would be more apt to sell them on ebay (which is why I'd point to a venue worker as opposed to a fan who got in queue at the buttcrack of dawn).

Didn't they also "give away" any bands that were defective during the sorting process? Not sure there would be 34 of them though... which is why my gut reaction is leaning more toward an unscrupulous venue employee. I mean, I recall there were reports of venue workers snatching up the LRLRL CDs when they were given out during the Viva tour, so what is to say a venue employee wouldn't also do that here? And really... where would the helpers put all those wristbands while they are in the front row of the concert? All those wristbands aren't going to fit in a person's pockets, I doubt they brought a backpack with them, etc.

I'm not on twitter, so feel free to reply to his twitter post with a link to my post here. I realize that he is very passionate about his work and takes this personally, which is why he could have jumped to the wrong conclusion without taking a step back to think about it.

^ Agreed.

While helpers may of had easiest access, why would one jump to conclusions?

When I think of a helper, I'm thinking of a true fan who stood in line for hours, to be rewarded with a task to do. In my opinion, the people who get to shows early like that are the ones who care about the well being of Coldplay and the fans aswell.

But there are wacko people out there, so it's understood. This feels like elementary school where everyone is punished for one persons misbehaving.

Thanks a lot eBay butthead. :furious2:

This is so true. It's totally unlike a caring fan to do something so careless like that....and it's not very feasible, because like you said, where exactly would you hide 34 stolen (and flashing) wristbands at a concert? You'd light up like the fourth of July with those in your pockets! I agree that maybe they should consider the venue worker option. I wish I had a twitter, so I could show this to him! :P

Just want to say there where 100s of defective ones after sorting. They had like an entire box full with 'bad ones'.

Me personely I think it was someone working for the venue too. They had options enough to fill their pockets, the bins and boxes full of wristbands were right there for the taking. Anyone passing by could have grabbed. (This was the case in Antwerp, don't know about the other venues)

I thought about this yesterday and what you're saying makes a lot of sense (like always :P)
