Beyonce isn't a band.

Both your points = invalid :P

neither are MJ or SW, so why are we even having that debate?

Fine. Debate=over. The cake wins

I actually want a real anwser here - not sarcasim - from a non - U.S citizen.

Was/is Nirvana popular where you are? I would say they're pretty big in the U.S, bigger than Oasis is here at least. But Oasis was huge in Europe (arguably they lasted alot longer though, and thus had more of a chance to build a loyal fanbase). I've always seen Nirvana shirts now and again, especially now with the 20th anniversary, but is it like that outside of the U.S? Anyone got any thoughts?

if you actually want an answer make a new thread that is not contaminated with idiots.

My point=more valid than yours

I like the ones with very long neck. They only eat leafs & fruits and they're nice :nice:

It's still U2.

They weren't the biggest band in the 90s but they reinvented and "recommercialized" themselves in the 21st century.

They recently concluded the biggest tour of all time, by far surpasing the previous record. That's a pretty impressive feat.

Coldplay is the close second, and probably the biggest band when U2 steps down.

Radiohead, Muse, Linkin Park, Green Day etc. (sorry for putting them in the same sentence) are not likely heirs.

Radiohead has no interest in pursuing the stadium rock megalomaniac heights of U2, the others have, and Coldplay is the most successful.

+ This was very bromantic:

OMG! I love that show!

How could we forget about them?! :awesome:

The band recently received a tweet saying: "Was driving down the street, and a @Nickelback song came on. I had an aneurism and violently shit myself at the same time. And my dog died." The band quickly went on to reply: "I bet it was the best day you've had in awhile. #yourwelcome." The social networking conversation continued: "Nickelback came on the radio... Worse than rebecca black #earsbleeding." The band then responded: "Then it's working?!?!? Sweet!"

LOLOLOL

IDK, I don't remember the story, just the characters. :nice:
