I think my heart did skip a beat when I saw it! :)

Just out of curiosity: where in Belgium? Would probably die if it was in one of my regular CD stores :p

It was in Rixensart :)

As far as I know it's real.

Damm, too much money for me... :(

It's definitely real. Yellow and Trouble had Taiwan release; both pretty cool. Don't pay more than $50-$60 for either, though. They're common enough to pop up occasionally on eBay for cheap.

That's the longbox edition (CDP 72434 74786 2 8L), you should be able to get one for much less than that.

I make a Google search about this longbox edition but i found little info. In one "XLS list" is ¿valued/offered? in 50 Euros. But no more info about the content of the "longbox". Also, If I make my search correctly, in discogs no info about the serial CDP 72434 74786 2 8L

I spent about $80 USD for my X&Y long box. They don't come around very often. Way harder to find is the AROBTTH longbox.

BTW, you have the link to that XLS list? Wonder if it's mine. I can give you more info, if you need it.

Thank you so much for your help offer "66". The "XLS list" is here (I hope the link work) http://www.google.es/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=18&ved=0CF8QFjAHOAo&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.heidirichter.com%2FColdplay.xls&ei=mfhaUsrILsTR7AajlIHICw&usg=AFQjCNFfoLYT9s3oTNMES2mrZOtiDF3pFg

Thanks for the link! Not exactly the one I posted, but super eerily similar. Think the poster found one of my old sheets, and swapped currencies. I should have everything on there, and a bit more, if you should need more info on any of the pieces. Prices on the spreadsheet will probably be way way off, considering the economic climate of the last several years. Stopped collecting about mid-way through the promotion of the last record, but most anything before that, I might be able to help. :-)

Not sure if this will work (I've regressed in my computer knowledge over the past couple years), but if it does, here's my most current list. May be missing a few, but mostly complete.

Still works, almost for me. Great job. Thanks.

Well, recently i adquired this http://www.ebay.es/itm/290986118965?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_177wt_1141

Once the CD arrived at my home, teorically is a japanese promo CD of "Viva la Vida" serial number TOCP-66805, but i see in the centre of the disk in white the "words" "TDK CD-R 700 MB". Real promo or fake? If is fake i only loose two euros but i want make a protest... What do you think about the CD?

It should be real. There are a few Japanese promos, but that's definitely one of them. If I wasn't at work, I'd check for the "TDK..." on mine, but from the photo, labeling looks right.

Should be just the CD, with no casing or artwork.

¡¡Good news!! Thank you so much for the info "66", you make my day despite my doubts about the "TDK letters"... :)

Ha, I think I was the one who used your list as a reference and then made my own additions. Yours was the only one around back then. It was, and still is the most accurate reference for the older releases out there.

While I am here again, I would like to ask you guys: how many of you use my website? Because I'm actually not updating it anymore and it's only costing me money. If you guys still use it from time to time, I'd keep it. But if nobody ever visits it, I see no point in keeping it up there...

Boo! All that work wasted! :-/. If I still actively collected the new stuff, I'd visit often. Mostly I check back time to time, to see if you've added anything new. It's such a stupendous resource!

Just saw this on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251357245042?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I'm a but confused. Ode came out in '98, and the band didn't sign to BMG till '99. All the Ode stuff I've seen always states "The Coldplay", and I'd have no idea why a demo would ever have BMG labeling. Obviously, this would have had to have been distributed after the independent distribution of Safety, but the labeling really does look good for a fake.

Hmmm...what do you all think?

Yes, I see this item also. Be careful "66", one side of the tape has the "TDK" logo (again TDK :)) i have serious doubts about this tape, but is just my opinion.

I look at it very occasionally - it would be a shame to lose it as it's a great resource!
