Do just play the song over the recording and sing it? What if we aren't the best singers? :P If I upload it to youtube will you be able to get it? Also if we sing and use our voice i'm assuming you know how to edit it out?

- First press the "record" button on your device, then play Charlie Brown from any source (if possible, make sure the device picks up the audio) whether that be from your iPod, MP3 player, computer speakers, stereo, etc.

- No one else will hear your voice except me (I'm editing it all) once again, the audio will be 100% "Charlie Brown" (MX CD version)

- Good question! Yes, I'll be able to get it. Just make sure that the video is either "Public" or "Unlisted" and that YOU SEND ME THE LINK TO THE YOUTUBE VIDEO

- Yeah! I've edited videos before and I know how to edit audio out and replace it with other things (in this case, Charlie Brown)

Hey EJ, can I do some sort of speed painting/drawing of the words "Charlie Brown" on paper between the lyrical parts of it and then at the end show the finished project? I'll still do the lip sync though~

I'm getting on it! My video editing thing is just being mean and not letting me speed up the drawing/painting thing.

OK, I think I am now out completely. Not only my camera is on strike but last night my computer caught a nasty virus so I cannot do anything right now :( (I am just now posting from work - which I shouldn't really :thinking:)

It will take some days to repair, so I don't think I can do the video. But I will be in next time!

 

In the meantime I will continue feeling mobbed by my equipment :wink3:

I'm delayed because my left foot has a hairline fracture by my big toe, happened yesterday at my workplace. But that's not going to stop me :D You'll still get my video.. after dinner I'll be doing it, doing what I can, I had plans on somethings I wanted to do but I don't know if I'll be able to do it since it hurts to walk.

 

Coldplay keeps me smiling.. I still want to do this.. I will do what I can because I wanted to go all out for this.. :)

I'm going to make another attempt to try my video again tomorrow, last night didn't go so well filming it, not because of my foot but other stuff..

You can get a little mini-tripod pretty much anywhere for super cheap. I got one for $10 a couple of years ago and it works great (it will even tilt in any direction and the legs are extendable); cameras have a little screw hole at the bottom made specifically for that purpose.
