He might just not realise that you feel quite as strongly as you do. He might think it's just two mates meeting up. He might have meant to have messaged you back and forgotten, but he'll mention something in school.

 

I don't know, but I think you should maybe mention it at some point to him, just say "Hey, did you get my message?"

The message was pretty clear, so I don't think he'll interpretate it as just two mates meeting up.
