Bostonians are offering shelter and help to out of towners, and in general the organization and response looks very impressive. A lot of people want to help. Some grizzly images coming out of there, though.

Just got home and watched some updated info on the news.

A Penske truck attempted to gain access to the marathon route shortly before the bombs went off, but was turned away by security. Police are currently attempting to locate the truck.

At least one of the bombs had ball bearings inside (as reported by surgeons at a local hospital treating victims).
