Kat, have you done the "how northern are you" test?

Did that. I got 90%. Scottish myself but I like a bit of northern culture!

Berlin isnt that expensive. At least the hotels aren't. As long as you are near a subway station you are in the heart of the city in half an hour or so.

Public transport is very good and also not that expensive.

There are special tickets for tourists and weekends etc...

When are u planning to come over here? Next summer or 2015?

(btw, traveling through germany by train is also not that expensive if you know what tickets to buy.)

I am trying for trying for September 2014 :)

It depends on where you wanna go. Train tickets can be quite cheap if you book in advance. Coaches are much cheaper but they mightn't be ideal if you don't have much time.

Where are you planning to go? I wouldn't just go to London, there are much nicer places in the UK.

Still checking. I saw some "places to visit while in England" so I will decide based on that and based on suggestions from you, guys! Lol after all, the best suggestions are given by locals :)

Diana, I propose 3 tours each lasting a month if you truly want to see Europe.

That is, of course, if you're willing and able to invest 3 years in this.

But that's sort of my plan when I graduate from college and get a job.

1. Southern tour: (Portugal), Spain, Southern France, Italy

2. Western tour: (Ireland), United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Netherlands

3. Central tour: Germany, Switzerland, Austria, (Hungary, Czech Republic)

+

Greece, Turkey, Egypt as a tour or individual summer vacations.

I hope you'll get to see as many countries as possible. :nice:
