May 2, 201412 yr Author i'd rather have a nice compact collection that would play together as it was a lost album of theirs than a 83-song compendium of the good, but mostly bad and ugly - i think...
May 2, 201412 yr I want an unreleased album! Famous old painters Wedding bells Don Quixote Car Kids (plz) Great expectations and more! Especially from the VIVA era
May 15, 201412 yr Author i don't much like the bonus tracks for the deluxe version of "ghost stories"...

May 15, 201412 yr It's nice to think about Coldplay potentially releasing an album with some of these obscurities, b-sides, live performances, demos, whatever, but I don't think they'll release an album with basically songs that never made the cut before because they weren't good enough. Also, I don't see the point in a b-side collection. Those songs are already officially released and not hard to obtain. Anyway, I guess it's fun to speculate.
May 15, 201412 yr I came with the idea recently of a series. It's called Missing. Each era would have its own album. It would be labeled Missing:Vol. LP I (or II, or III etc.).The artwork would basically be the original artwork, with the colors inverted, and the words changed so it says Missing then whatever Vol it is. The 4th Missing would be inverted of the Prospekt's March edition Viva La Vida cover, so that way, if you had all the original albums, then the Prospekt's March and Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends edition, then all the Missing, you would have every Coldplay song possible, and you could pair up each album with it's Missing equivalent and the album artworks would all be opposites. I only put in the tracks that are on the internet so I could actually get it on an album. Here are the tracklists: Missing:Vol. LP I: Ode to Deodorant A Ghost For You Careful Where You Stand Help Is Round The Corner No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground Brothers & Sisters Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Yellow(Alpha Remix) Don't Panic(Blue Room Version) Bigger Stronger Only Superstition See You Soon Easy To Please Such A Rush Harmless Missing:Vol. LP II One I Love I Bloom Blaum 1.36 I Ran Away Crests of Waves Animals Animals(Piano Intro) Clocks(Royksopp Trembling Heart Remix) God Put A Smile Upon Your Face(Def. Inc Remix feat. Mr Thing) Moses Gold In Them Hills by Ron Sexsmith(feat. Chris Martin) Where Is My Boy? by Faultline(feat. Chris Martin) Missing:Vol. LP III (FIRST DISC, JUST AUDIO) Things I Don't Understand Proof The World Turned Upside Down Pour Me(Live) Sleeping Sun Gravity What If(Tom Lord Alge Remix) (SECOND DISC, AUDIO AND VIDEO) Speed of Sound(Video) Fix You(Video) The Hardest Part(Video) Talk(Video) Ladder to the Sun(Live) Missing:Vol. LP IV: St. Stephen(Demo) The Fall of Man(Demo) Bloodless Revolution(Demo) The Man Who Swears(Demo) The First Steps(Demo) Lovers In Japan(Demo) Loveless(Demo) A Spell A Rebel Yell Death Will Never Conquer Lost- Lost@ Lost+ Lost? Lhuna Don Quixote The Goldrush Missing: Vol. LP V: Christmas Lights Moving To Mars Paradise(Instrumental) Charlie Brown(Instrumental) Princess of China(Invisible Men Remix) Paradise(Tiesto Mix) Princess of China(Acoustic) Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall(Video) Paradise(Video) Charlie Brown(Video) Princess of China(Video) Missing:Vol. LP VI Since the Ghost Stories era just started like 2 months ago, I haven't gotten to make the full tracklist yet. Here is what I have so far though: Atlas Magic(Instrumental) Midnight(Giorgio Moroder Remix) All Your Friends* Ghost Story* O(Part 2/Reprise)* *Might change if they really are included in the 2015 follow-up. Here is a website that I quickly made with the artworks on it : http://missingcoldplay.weebly.com
May 15, 201412 yr yea they should do this next year for a stop-gap. plus all huge bands do this or at least a b-sides bonus disc with some new songs. i'd like the Fight For Your Right (To Party) live cover.
July 5, 201411 yr Author "Wish I Was Here" with Cat Power is excellent but doesn't really sound much like a Coldplay song...
October 3, 20169 yr Author It's nice to think about Coldplay potentially releasing an album with some of these obscurities, b-sides, live performances, demos, whatever, but I don't think they'll release an album with basically songs that never made the cut before because they weren't good enough. Maybe the songs just didn't fit into the feel of the albums they were working on at the time. I think some of these tracks are great...
October 4, 20169 yr How about they just release every single song they've worked on in addition to these songs that got finished but never made the cut even as a B sides. Like the X&Y ones. It would be EPIC to hear those. And try to finish unfinished songs. Btw your missing alternate version of Spies, and your love means everything part 2.

October 5, 20169 yr but Your Love Means Everything Pt 2 is Faultline feat Chris, right? not actually Coldplay Well you put in where is my boy so...

October 6, 20169 yr ah, i tried to look at the other lists before to see if anyone had put other Chris collabs but missed that one. now i see they put Gold In Them Hills in there, too. sorry! :lipsrsealed2: Lol it's fine :P
October 6, 20169 yr Author I don't think I've heard some of the songs that people have listed... like "Car Kids".
October 7, 20169 yr I don't think I've heard some of the songs that people have listed... like "Car Kids". No one heard that one
November 6, 20169 yr Author Other bands make good b-sides, like Radiohead... but I can see somewhat why these songs have gone onto flipsides... they're a bit experimental sometimes or don't fit into the sound of their album/s... but Coldplay's best b-sides sound more like singles...
June 14, 20179 yr Author Could be nice to put out this anthology as a sort of alternative history rather than the obligatory greatest hits collection.
