Ok, now that both RAH gigs have come and gone and that there are no other dates scheduled I can't help but wondering...now what?

What do you think it's gonna happen? Christmas gig, maybe?

Oh, the DVD thing has been mentioned a few times, it makes sense, maybe it does happen, but what about a tour or a live performance? I'm just desperate.

Don't panic everyone!! (See what I did there?) lol anyway, it's obvious what Coldplay is up to. Even before the album was released there were rumors about this album being more of a side project before the next big album (LP7) is released. Be lucky that a huge band like Coldplay were willing to give us a more acoustic, low key album before releasing something that the commercial world will enjoy more. Stay tuned everyone, I just know a new album will be out before you know it followed by the best tour ever!!!

Everyone is saying "the Ghost Stories era is over, bring on LP7" but it's not, because True Love is released in September. There will be a music video for sure (confirmed by the dancers in the video) and maybe we'll get a b-side! Also a DVD release is possible, everyone's talking about that. So the Ghost Stories era is not over, but the live aspect of it is.

Ik lol me too. But lets face it, there probably wont be any more performances until ep7 is announced. Chris even said at albert hall that that was the last concert they would be doing in a while.

Well, the "live aspect" of the era is over and that is indeed very sad. At least for me, I was hoping they announced more tour dates :( Ones I would actually be able to attend.

It is nice to know there's a video planned and probably a DVD, that's nice, it's great actually, knowing that we'll hear from them in the upcoming months but after the MX Tour fiasco, I was so excited when this new era was first announced cause it would mean live shows and a new Tour (finally!) and then you blink and it's over :( Just the idea of having to wait another 3 or 4 years to see them live makes me miserable.

It'll be a lot sooner than 3-4 years. No break between albums!

I dont think we will have to wait that long :) if the rumors are true, they might start touring again next year :)

LOL I think I'm gonna wait for another album and for another tour with normal prices and with the bigger chance to get the ticket

/\ THIS hahaha

These years haven't being great for south american coldplayers. I think I'll save enough money to make my own coldplay tour when they finally tour here.

Even if they do release an album next year, we're always the last ones on the list so, yeah, it could be years. :disappointed:

Maybe we could all join efforts, set up a company and bring them to South America :P

I actually preferred the concert length of this tour, there were just enough segments that it didn't sound tired at any point. I admire the bands creativity in choosing venues, as the thing I hated about the u2360 tour was that they decided to just play the largest stadiums in the world which was dull as all hell for those looking at the progression of the tour. I opted out of the MX tour, as I thought coldplay were doing the same (as well as muse with their 2nd law tour). This did not interest me, so it was a very welcome reward that Coldplay decided to show that creativity, which I hope continues into the future. That 2010-2012 corporate ideology of exclusively playing large stadiums, was a big turnoff.

I wouldn't mind seeing them play Twickenham or other outdoor events (as in the QE Olympic park), to give a change from playing Wembley/Arsenal etc

Today a news website here in Brazil - I don't know the site, so I don't know if we can trust it - said that is almost right that Coldplay will come to play in a stadium in Curitiba, but it doesn't say when.

The article is about the stadium "Arena da Baixada", which is now a place where gigs and big shows can happen. Here are important parts of the article:

"Although many international names are being sugested to play there, the talks to bring Coldplay are already advanced."

"The band would come last year, but the tour was canceled so they could record Ghost Stories. The Soccer Club (that owns the stadium) doesn't confirm anything, but a person related to the directorship confirmed that their come is pratically right."

If this really happens, I don't think it will be part of the GS Tour, as we're talking about a stadium. But as a South American coldplayer, I won't believe they'll come unless I see them with my own eyes.

"b-side! " Haha...Sweet dreams... :(

You really missed out on mylo. The big stadiums added something because of the xylobands. That and the convert length i can understand where your coming from about it not getting tired, but for $150 dollars i would want them to play alot longer. I feel like the prices should have been cheaper for this tour, especially since most of the shows didnt have a intro band.

That degenerated kitty face is so disgusting it's cute :wacky:

The "B" side is dead :(

Not that many bands still release proper b-sides these days, rather than remixes or live tracks.

Arctic Monkeys still release b-sides.... And they are kick ass!
