man... these are sad times. as coldplay have always relied on influences, i sure hope these are not the 'artists' that are influencing their present work.. can you imagine the disappointment?? it has been apparent since mx, but man.. i'm disappointed. just hope that they realize majority of their fan base are not teenage girls..

the thing is, he is the main writer. at least the main lyricist. i remember seeing that will is always chasing a justin timberlake song since like viva days. but let's hold out some hope for the rest of the band right? :fingersx:

u guys u have to think that he wasnt really able to choose songs that weren't on the charts, you cant judge a person's music taste by a scripted american top 40 in charts radio show

 

I think they gave him a list of songs he could choose from, all hits and couldnt do anything about it, that's why it was a crap show, he wasnt really "feeling" those songs

I don't think there's any need to worry. Knowing Chris, his favourite music keeps changing not on a daily, but on an hourly basis ;) So we don't have to worry because of a few songs presented on a top 40 radio station where we don't even know if he indeed had a choice which songs would be played.

I don't seem to be able to edit my own post a second time, so I'm just going to make another one:

 

The whole situation kind of reminded me of one of those awsome interviews of the Viva era when Jonny was asked what annoyed him the most about Chris. And Jonny said that the thing that sometimes annoys him is that Chris can be totally enthousistic about something one minute and the next minute he absolutely hates the exact same thing. Chris confirmed that this happens about ten times a day . . .

Perhaps part of the iHeart promotion deal (that included a bunch of terrible radio interviews), like the gig they performed part of the Target deal & the The Voice appearance that was part of the CBS network deal :blank:
