April 7, 201610 yr Good evening. We are very pleased to announce that the band will perform 12 U.S. arena shows alongside this summer’s U.S. stadium tour. Tickets for the new arena dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday, April 15 from Ticketmaster (apart from Detroit, which will be on sale at 10am on Saturday, April 16). We’re also very happy to confirm that singer-songwriter Alessia Cara will be the main support at all the U.S. shows, with Foxes opening at all of the shows between July 16 and August 6.
April 9, 201610 yr Can we talk about this arena name please? They must like KFC, I guess. (tower up burgers tho:D)
April 9, 201610 yr Author Well, if they were ever to build a Kentucky Fried Chicken arena, I guess it would be in Kentucky....
April 9, 201610 yr Well, if they were ever to build a Kentucky Fried Chicken arena, I guess it would be in Kentucky.... Yeh. But where did the yum come from?
April 9, 201610 yr I couldn't believe it was really called like that so I did a quick google search and "It is named after the KFC restaurant chain and Yum! Brands, the parent company of KFC." Which makes sense but it still sounds like a joke
April 9, 201610 yr I've noticed if we look at it at night, the place just looks like a massive KFC restraunt At least we know where Coldplay will be eating before the show;)
April 9, 201610 yr Good thing Chris is no longer a vegetarian then Imagine he walks in in 2006 to that arena and has no idea what it's called... :blank: awkward
April 11, 201610 yr Coming from near Savannah, GA for this. Can't believe there's no Atlanta on the tour - really surprising. After a lengthy battle with the Coldplay presale (2 computers, 2 phones), I got some decent seats in the 100s. REALLY expensive tour....I don't understand $175 tickets. Coldplay is a pop act now, so I guess that justifies them raising the ticket prices. But I'm coming.

July 28, 20169 yr Great show tonight! Chris made some jokes about the "yum yum center". I have a ton of video. One thing was super interesting... Before Everglow, he said that the next song started in Louisville..... And then started it... Jennifer Lawrence is from Louisville but Gwyneth sings on it..... Hmm.... July 30, 20169 yr a Yeh. But where did the yum come from? Yum is the brand name of the company that owns KFC, Taco Bell, and maybe Pizza Hut? Don't ask me how I know that - just learned it somewhere in my life journey - haha. KFC was, in fact, born in Kentucky. But yes, it's literally THE WORST name ever.
July 30, 20169 yr I have a question for folks who were at the show. 1) I hope you had a blast - the videos look great! 2) Where exactly was the C-stage set up? I'm hoping to go to Pittsburgh and hoping to get a ticket near the C-stage. From what I can tell, it looks like it's been set up IN the seats, instead of in the open hallway that leads to the locker rooms (like where basketball players come out on to the court). I uploaded a photo of the seating chart - so was it in Section 109 or 108, or in that gap in 109 (next to 110)? Any assistance is appreciated!
