okay, the whole mess that is the electoral college, is that no matter what the popular vote is, representatives from every state (the number of which are determined by state population) vote for the president based on who won the particular state they represent, however they usually just vote for whoever they personally like. That's the best I can explain it, it's complicated and stupid. :confused:
