I wanted to go so badly but the cheapest single airplane ticket costs 275€... By bus it would take over 10 hours to get there... :(

Whaat ? OK, if I had traveled as long as some people here did and/or invested a lot in that travel, I would be REALLY annoyed at the band for disappointing their fans :(

I don't think this is the fault of the band but rather the organisation pulling the extras in. After all it was the icehockey venue that put out the statement, not the band management.

Yeah, you are right. Well, whoever put out that statement, it clearly implied that the band would be present and if this was just a calculated ploy to lure people there, it is a kind of cheating imho. Feel sorry for those who went long ways.

The Shoot for the audience is done already. No Coldplay involved at this Point.

Even though it's great to be part to be part of the video anyway that's kind of unfair for some people IMO. I imagine if I had paid for train and hotel just to get to the shoot and then the band isn't there I'd be really really disappointed. It's the fault of whoever wrote that article, it clearly said that cp would be there.

I don't think so. I won a M&G in Offenbach and Chris was not there but the Telekom says nothing about this. ;)

Ahhhhh that's so disappointing for all the fans that went there. Be consoled with the fact that at least you're part of a CP video - such an honour. ( Personally I'd be livid and would probably collapse in a heap of tears )

I would be very disappointed, if I traveled to Hannover, standing and waiting in line with 1200 people to get just to sit in the Arena in the dark holding a sparkler (Wunderkerze)….

Just wrote a little spontaneous first review for my Facebook profile and thought I'd share here as well. (All the silliness is lack of sleep after last night's concert.)

 

So apparently we now appear as extras in a brand new Coldplay music video.

 

What it involved: An ice stadium, a cute ice dancing couple, glowing birch trees on the ice, severe cold, lightening up 30,000 sparklers when being told so, lots and lots of waiting, slipping cameramen, some frustration, imagining how they're gonna CGI chimps onto the ice, a free shirt, and hearing the same snippet of Everglow again and again and again and again...

 

What it did not involve: The band, lol.

What was the general reaction of the extras to that last fact?

Do we know anything about the release date? + did you take any photos?

Aww it must've been so disappointing for the people who went :(

But on a happier note, it sounds like the Everglow video is going to be absolutely charming and heart warming :)
