  • Finally a new album from the band! Haven't heard the full album yet, just the 3 pre-released songs and they're great.

I like they're playing at small venues, it makes a concert a hundred times more intense:wacky:.

@ Jenflor: You should go buy Final Straw straight away! It's truly amazing:smug:.

Yay, 19 days.

Hi people! i saw Snow Patrol last wednesday because they opened a U2 concert and i liked them soo much! i knew some of their songs (like Chasing Cars, Open Your Eyes, Run) and they're so good live! :)

My ticket for their show in Houston came in the mail yesterday. I can't believe they are playing such a small venue.

Same with The Wiltern in LA. That's just over a capacity of 2000. In LA, I'd think they'd at least be able to sell out something like the Greek Theater, which holds close to 6000.

Ah well, small venue might mean a more intimate crowd.

Final Straw Now...go to store right now. :P

Corkus, I agree with RoosAnne- I love small venues. As awesome as the VLV show is, I'd LOVE to see Coldplay in a small venue. I think you're right, the small setting lends itself to a much more intimate show :wacky:

Small Venue beats a large venue anytime

^Yeah. Its more private and you can be really close.

Great pics... And wow... Soon soon so very soon Ill see them... Only 30 days...

The Snow Patrol concert I have been to was very small as well (there were around ... 2,000 people?) and it was great. :nice: Besides being way closer to the stage than usual, I really had the feeling to acutally be with Snow Patrol, not only seeing them live.

2,000 ain't small :P

Small is when there are less than 500 people, like in a club.

well that would have to be with an amateur band or a lousy one couse for me 2000 people is very little. I got to see coldplay in a venue of 10,000 and you know that's little compared to the arenas and stadiums crowds.

Or a new band coming though the ranks ;)

Well, for a band like Snow Patrol 2,000 aren't 'big' I think. They played a huge festival the next day so I think it was a small crowed for them the evening I saw them.

And playing a pub or club is small, but hey, Snow Patrol doesn't play so many venues like those anymore, do they?

Sadly not. I will see them again when they next tour the UK.

Love the set list. As long as they play Run Im happy...

Is that another obscure Snow Patrol track I'm not familiar with??

I give up. *this is not SP song*

I just give up.
