I wrote in the most polite way, simply to point out a fact. I'm letting her know that I understand that people have different tastes. So, in the same way we respect that she doesn't like Chris, I believe she should understand that there are females (and gay guys) who find Chris attractive. BUT alas, she just keeps ranting about Chris is no stunner, and how that is beyond her.

I haven't bothered to humor those threads, I hope all of those people disappear soon :rolleyes:

My mum is the sweetest!!

Just after I returned to London this week she became interested in who "that band" is. When I came back the ticket for August (Düsseldorf) was in the letter box and she couldn't understand why I would want to see a concert 3 times (haven't told her about Wembley yet :P)

So we made this "youtube session" and she knows now that all those songs she knows from the radio are Coldplay songs.

Well, it's a different generation.... she's 60.

 

Today she was watching TV and called me "Anna, come quick, there's that guy you like on TV!"

I ran over to the living room...

Know what? She confused Ricky Martin and Chris Martin!!!!!

It's a little insult to my taste and Chris but it's still so sweet that now she tries to look out for Coldplay for me!

 

She also said that they are good looking :D

Well, it looks like they have moved up one place. Chris is 5th and Guy is 12th.

 

It's easy to push both ahead.

 

All you do is after clicking on the link above, just keeping clicking on the "GO" botton by the addy window for the page to reload over and over as much as you want or can stand to click. DO NOT click refresh. Voting is limitless. What I'm doing is giving Chris a 10 and Guy a 9, but the important thing to do is give all the rest 1's so that you pull them down.

 

To go to Guy directly, change the end of the addy to "...9&id=101" Basically Guy is number 101. And to go directly to Chris change the end of the addy to "...10&id=14" Basically Chris is number 14. But again don't forget to give the rest ones.
