Well..I liked this guy a little while ago, we never had sex but we did fool around and we did some stuff and I developed big feelings for him, but he only wanted the casual thing, so we ended that..now we talk sometimes and everything seems to be back to normal, I'll never do it again though because it took me forever to get over him, so when it comes to sex..i'm only going to do that with someone who I'm in a very long caring relationship with, someone who equally loves me back, because I don't want to be someone's pleasure toy, I want it to mean more to the both of us..well that's my story

im not for it. it is something for love. i think it is ok before marriage but you have to love the person.

My opinion...sex is something that 2 people share when they're in love. Everyone sees it differently but I know I respect myself too much to just have sex with any old guy, it's a pretty special thing ya know, having someone shove their privates into yours. :P

haha yes. also have to say. give it at least a year. one of my best friends her name is kat. she knew this guy josh as sort of a mentor like for 2 years and than after him and his g/f broke it off they decided to give it a ashot being so close and all. well bad idea because he just broke up with her and she was madly in love with her. and she gave herself to him. thats the one thing she regrets her whole life and she is a wild thing. so yea im not saying sex ruins but just really be in love. :stunned:

Now, in the wake of sunset_scientist being (Quite understandably) a little miffed at me and Musiclovers adolescent anecdotes in the Lisa Hannigan topic (We wanted to 'do her'), what is your attitude towards sex?

I can relate to a few situations in sex.

 

It can be, purely for pleasure, with someone that you like, but not love. It can make you feel happy, it doesnt have to disgust or revolt you or mess up your friendly relationship with someone.

 

But on the other hand, it can turn a friendship into a bitter thing, you can become attached, I have. Its hard to let go, you fall in love while its going on and the rush of emotions is just too hot to handle. There is no worse of a downer then falling in love with someone in a day and then having to listen to them re-evaluate the situation, and having to face that it was just sex for them, nothing beyond that.

 

Personally, I will probably never have sex as a spontaneous thing ever again, the pleasure is in no-way comparable to the downer you can feel if you become emotionally attached. Its horrible, it can throw you off for weeks.

 

 

 

I'm at uni at the mo, and casual sex is RIFE i can tell ya that! Sometimes people get drunk and do things they might regret, but other people can just have the sex and be done with it. I'm SO over-sensitive so it wouldn't work for me! :)

That is my attitude, but the other way round as I am not a woman. But at times I fear this may be my downfall. As I don;t tend to make any moves when I should do.

 

Sex should be a expression of ones love for someone and respect. Not as a casual thing. To many minds get messed up and hearts are broken. I would rather go out and pay for it.
