January 25, 200917 yr ^ Yeah, the new video is awesome, IMO. No other band in the world would even attempt a video like this. There is a great interview with Brandon Flowers in the latest issue of Spin Magazine. I love how at least one band is not afraid to be big and eccentric. Here's the video for those who have not seen it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmh_guIlovk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmh_guIlovk[/ame]
January 25, 200917 yr That video is brilliant! I just convinced my mom to by me two tickets for the San Jose show on April 19th. Now I just need someone to go with... :P It's general admission too; so if I can convince her to get me there early enough, maybe I'll get some close seats.

January 26, 200917 yr I'm curious to see what the next single will be. My guess is that it will be either Losing Touch or Neon Tiger.

I got a couple of vids if anyone wants to get a little preview if you're going to one of their shows, or just curious...:uhoh: And I was disappointed that they didn't do Dustland Fairytale last night, I loove that song, and was hoping to hear it live. Oh well. (and I'm an idiot and showed up late and missed first 2songs--Losing Touch&Spaceman :bigcry: 2 of my faves from new CD!!!) EDIT: vids
January 26, 200917 yr I will be going too!!! Yay! I'm getting more and more excited, especially since it's a fairly small venue.

January 27, 200917 yr Damn, I am so jealous of all the concert goers. I have seen 4 of the 10 songs off of Day and Age live. I don't think you will be disappointed.

EDIT: vids Booo :disappointed: I read they didn't play it, not even in Boston yesterday..apparently they're still trying to work out the setlist and Dustland was not received well as they expected. Hope they'll bring it back for the next gigs or in Europe, I have two chances and they risk their lives if they don't play it :D Thanks for the vids even tough I didn't watch them because I don't want to spoil the surprise, I just read the setlists since I need to update their italian fansite, but that's as far as I'm going

January 28, 200917 yr I'll be attending some festivals this summer. At least three. The Killers have already been confirmed for two out of three. So at least I'll get my Killers fix this summer.
January 29, 200917 yr tomorrow nite at the Patriot Center in Virginia. OMGOSH! youre at the show right now! how awesome! exactly a week from tonight for me! :D
January 29, 200917 yr oh my gawd! what a arse kicking show that was last nite! Wow.. I had front rail in front of Mark (the bassist). Waited outside the venue for 2 1/2 hrs.. piece of cake compared to U2. Haha. Me and a friend had fun talking to the real cool security guards there the whole time which made time fly. Opening band, M83 (a french techno band) just didn't do it for me. It was like one long 30 min song (all the songs sounded the same). Killers came on around 9:15 or so. Opened with Spaceman which I just loved.. I got a set list and took some pics that I'll post tonite when I get home from work. I will say this Brandon has truly become a great showman up there. He finally is comfortable, relaxed and having fun, talkin to the crowd. This was my 3rd time seeing them and this was an immediate impression I got last nite. He has always been kinda awkward, disconnected a bit from the audience in the past which I had always noticed before but now he is completely comfortable in his own skin.. This really made the show fun! setlist: Spaceman Losing Touch Somebody Told Me Smile This is your life Extended intro> Joyride I can't stay Bling Shadowplay Bones Neon Tiger Human Sams Town (Acoustic) Read my Mind Mr. Brightside All these Things Encore World We live in Reasons Jenny When you were Young

I think The Killers are absolutely fantastic live. Even though I love their albums, they do them no justice when you hear the songs played live. I, also, think that Brandon has matured. I have been watching The Killers since they were playing 3,000 seat auditoriums. Now, they are comfortable rocking major arenas. It has been a nice progression to watch.
