i got Riceboy Sleeps last night and just listened to it a couple of hours ago... i don't think I have words to describe how magnificently amazing it is... just WOW

My favorite tracks are Boy 1904, Indian Summer and Happiness. Really drags out at the end, but its still beautiful.

I have just started listening to them ... so far I love them :)

if only i had money.

on music quiz show popppunktur last friday, sigur rós beat electro pop group bloodgroup by one point in an exciting sudden death round. the boys will be appearing on the show once again in the seminfinals on friday (last friday was actually the 8-team finals, not semifinals as previously reported). they’ll be going up against the comedy folk band ljótu hálfvitarnir (the ugly idiots). the bands are set to face some new challenges in the semifinals, such as writing an improptu song based on a made-up song title they draw randomly, and a weightlifting challenge. you can watch the show live here from 8:10pm gmt (9:10pm

only doing ten in a playlist thing was cruel because I had previously made a list of 13 as a bare minimum. You just have to suck it up cut some really great songs from your list.

I love how they're always competing in random Icelandic quiz shows :lol: And what? A weightlifting challenge? I'd like to see Jonsi try that :P

I don't remember seeing it on itunes before, and while itunes doesn't always comport with my mp3 player, its the only place I've seen that has it.

Von is so strange when i 1st heard, i thought my cd was damaged or something :wacky::lol:

lol, I've heard as much from several people. I still haven't listened to any of it as I've had school work to do and want to be in a sound state of mind when I do hear it.

I haven't heard it completely, been busy with school too but I will, I have heard some songs but I like it
