June 27, 200421 yr It's a cartoon, very similar in concept to The Simpsons. In fact, a lot of people claim it's a Simpsons rip-off, but there are some big differences it's aimed towards adults, whereas The Simpsons is aimed at pretty much everyone. It's much more surreal (e.g. the family dog can talk) and the jokes are a bit more off-the-wall and rediculous. http://www.planet-familyguy.com will tell you everything there is to know about the show
