  1. Go through you when you travel
  2. Most of all, I realised during this years that they always had great taste in music, because the bands/artists they are inspired from made the history of contemporary music (U2, Echo & The Bunnymen, A-ha, Kate Bush, Radiohead, Oasis, My Bloody Valentine, Brian Eno, The Verve and so on...) That's another reason why I love them: they are the only band I know that is a starting point to discover all the rest. Other bands are good but are not so "educational"
  3. They have always had a pop feeling, with a mix of rock and other little things here and there...
  4. and I crawl baack into your ooopen aaaarms. End of the song, now one of us can choose another song, I've already started this :)
  5. "Life Is A Fear" is the best of the three singles they put out off "In Dream". Good synthpop song
  6. (epic instrumental) So I crawl baaaaack into you ooooopen arms
  7. Only ASFOS (unfortunately) and Magic
  8. That It's great, I forgot it on my list
  9. go on the forum section "The World Of Music". If you go back on page 6 of that section you will find a thread about Pink Floyd with a poll about their best album
  10. I discovered that there already was a topic about them (page 6)
  11. I honestly think that Midnight it's one of their best songs ever (and I can be considered an "oldplayer" if we can call it that way). It's their very first song that can be tagged as IDM, that is a sophisticated either mysteriously captivating genre. They always have embraced various kinds of music, especially some very refined currents (first example that comes to my mind is "Chinese Sleep Chant" that has a very shoegaze-y feeling, or something like "Easy To Please" that with the background vocals of people passing on the road reminds of 90s alt rock). When they get out of their pop rock "little bubble" they quite often release their best songs (except for ASFOS ahahah ).
  12. I forgot that amazing performance at Live8 with Richard Ashcroft...
  13. It's not that I don't like them, on the contrary I know most of them by heart, but I find them average songs, quite "forgettable" (pass me the adjective) if you compare them with the others
  14. Ahahah... no, not every song, there are some missing (I Bloom Blaum, Only Superstition, Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground, ecc ecc) BTW, I just can't pick one of that list, they're all good :)
  15. non-albums songs I like: Crest Of Waves School The Goldrush Atlas Wish I Was Here (feat. Cat Power) 1:36 One I Love Death Will Never Conquer Careful Where You Stand For You Brothers & Sisters (especially Trouble Version) I Ran Away Gravity Proof Sleeping Sun A Spell A Rebel Yell Things I Don't Understand The World Turned Upside Down See You Soon Don't Panic (Blue Room Version) Such A Rush Easy To Please Moving To Mars Rainy Day Glass Of Water Prospekt's March/Poppyfields All Your Friends Ghost Story O (Part 2/Reprise) maybe I forgot something, but it think that's it
  16. My favourite are: Everything's Not Lost (Glastonbury 2011) X&Y (Austin City Limits 2006) Warning Sign (live@ Torino, Italy, 24/05/2012) Strawberry Swing (Closing Ceremony of London 2012 Paralympics Games) God Put A Smile Upon Your Face (Rock Am Ring 2011)
  17. Yes I've got to tell you in my loudest tones
  18. ahhaha (I said probably  )
  19. That duration has a meaning. Think it like a big jump in the air before you open that parachute, it doesn't last very long but it is quite emotional. Like a love relationship: it might not last very long, but it makes you feel alive
  20. I've always loved them since I was a child, especially The Dark Side Of The Moon, The Division Bell, Wish You Were Here and Meddle. I have recently listened again to their whole discography, there are some very good songs in almost every LP. David Gilmour is probably my favourite guitarist ever
  21. Parachutes: Spies & Don't Panic A Rush of Blood To The Head: Warning Sign & Amsterdam X&Y: Speed Of Sound & Swallowed In The Sea (and X&Y as third) Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends: Chinese Sleep Chant & Violet Hill Prospekt's March EP: Glass Of Water & Prospekt's March/Poppyfields Mylo Xyloto: Up With The Birds & Major Minus Ghost Stories: Midnight & All Your Friends
  22. (epic solo) A warning sign...
  23. When the truth is... (ahah don't worry :D , you'll be burned in hell's flames for this :wink3:)
  24. Come on, in
