  1. Brilliant and cute. And he has an uncanny knack for picking out obscure electronic stuff that I end up loving. :uhoh:
  2. Wow... now that was epic... :stunned: Happy Birthday! :D
  3. 29 previous posts disagree with you.
  4. I can't even imagine how the internet will be in 15 years. :worried2: In some ways this is all new and temporary, but at the same time social habits formed as a teenager tend to stick with you for life. I knew he was a guy back then- he was waay too hockey obsessed to be a girl. (Not that some girls aren't, but it is unusual.)
  5. I love Chris' drawings. :nice:
  6. Roadtrip to Connecticut (multi-day journey). And it ate up most of the money I earned at my summer job that year. But so worth it. :D
  7. Love your neighbour. Even the nasty people you don't like. It really is the only way this crazy world makes sense. (see?: http://www.wired.com/medtech/health/magazine/17-10/ff_christakis?currentPage=3)
  8. :laugh3: Ow. My brain hurts now.
  9. Yeah, I've had some pretty random moments in my life, but that ranks among the best of them. "Hey, Sniggirb is really a Briggins. I know some Brigginses. Wait he's from around here... :uhoh: :idea2:" .... "Um, hey Briggins, weird question, but are you ________?" :laugh3: And dude, you've so got to give that Muse album another try. I didn't especially like it at first and now I can't stop listening to it. Once all the pieces in all of their weirdness start falling into place it's really something special, even for them. ...But then I did get into them in the first place because of all the classical influences... But please just don't hurt yourself. I'm warning you ahead of time, it's going to be very high on my list. I love that silly album. And congratulations on the big post count. Heh... I just passed 5000 and didn't even notice it. So in 15 more years, I should reach this point too... :uhoh2:
  10. Uh, err.. hmm....... You really like to ask all the hard questions, don't you? :inquisitive::p I'll tell you what. If you can give me a couple of really good reasons why this should be seen as an original (as opposed to derivative) work, I'll let you count it. Otherwise I'd say it counts as a remix compilation.
  11. Now play it so loud that you get a headache. Then play that one song that loud over and over on repeat for 5 days with no breaks. It's not funny. It really is a form of torture, especially for people from backgrounds where they don't listen to pop music. Loud repeated music can have a very different effect on the brain than having a loud radio on does. If you do a bit of digging some of the allegations about how the music was used to break people are pretty nasty. I'd want to know if it was my music too. :(

But it's fun math because there are only two possible answers: 0 and 1. So it's 50/50 every time.

Well it's certainly wired if you're studying electronics like me. Lots and lots and lots of wires. :P
  14. Murp! Why does none of the cool tech stuff ever work in Canada? Even the photoshop mobile app doesn't work on my phone because of stupid Bell being different so it's phones aren't supported. :(
  15. It looks like the site automatically removes paragraphs. But yes, it looks like you have to be from Canada to vote.
  16. *blinks* Brain cramp! :inquisitive:

I think my binary homework is starting to scramble my brain. :dizzy: I'm suddenly starting to understand how the decimal system is just the framework that we use for math rather than math itself, and it's starting to scare me. :uhoh: 01000001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01100110 01101001 01110010 01110011 01110100 00100000 01110000 01100101 01110010 01110011 01101111 01101110 00100000 01110111 01101000 01101111 00100000 01110011 01100001 01111001 01110011 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 01110010 01100101 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 00110001 00110000 00100000 01110100 01111001 01110000 01100101 01110011 00100000 01101111 01100110 00100000 01110000 01100101 01101111 01110000 01101100 01100101 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01110111 01101111 01110010 01101100 01100100 00100000 01110111 01101001 01101100 01101100 00100000 01100111 01100101 01110100 00100000 01100001 00100000 01110011 01110111 01101001 01100110 01110100 00100000 01101011 01101001 01100011 01101011 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01101000 01100101 01100001 01100100 00101110:P:P:P

That kind of reminds me of Stardust. (The book, not the movie.) Hope the leaves don't hurt.
  19. Ok, the new lists have been added/updated. Sorry that took so long. *looks* Nope, no votes last year. Vote away. I'm beginning think that 2009 is only now really getting going. There's so much coming out this fall. :dizzy: I still think 2005 was the peak of the decade though. It's like the whole underground scene started to explode into the mainstream then, and all this amazing stuff came out. Your list is wonderful! I don't know all the groups on it, but based on the ones I do know on it I would like to look up the others some time. Which is the point of this list. If everyone listened to the same bands, it would be boring.
  20. There is something about old threads, isn't there? And fingers crossed. There is nothing more devastating than being given faint hope. Heh... I started reading thinking it was a new one until I came to my own post- saying exactly what I meant to this time. Hooray for being consistent? :uhoh2: :laugh3:
  21. Well I'd love a thread. It'll no doubt eventually sink down into oblivion, but it'll be cool while it lasts. :nice:
  22. I thought he killed it. That's a little more than just breaking up.
  23. ^Good... I wouldn't want a tranny one... :stunned:
