  1. Hehe, that guy was in Dream Team on Sky One and he was also in the video for Candi Staton's 'You've Got The Love'.
  2. This word has a history of being used as a racial slur, though. I think if people are offended by it, they kind of have a right to be, don't they?
  3. Huh? What's that got to do with anything? I was just kidding with those 2 last posts. The first one where I mentioned racist connotations was me simply stating a fact in case Saffire wasn't aware, that's all.
  4. Isn't that harrassment, following them around with video cameras like that?
  5. I found out that it's a bhangra dhol drum that you can hear in Lost!

Does anybody know what single George Lassoes The Moon was the b-side for? Edited: It was on the Noisebox EP and Any Day Now EP.
  7. Asleep In The Back - Elbow.

I hope so! If someone can record the documentary on 6music too please that'd be great because I'm out tonight (just in case it's not put on the iPlayer for some silly reason!)
  9. I had problems getting on to Doves.net yesterday and wasn't able to download Jetstream. Can someone please upload it on here?
  10. Thanks. Merge please. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19256
  11. No. Live, Guy plays a bass drum with beaters and Will plays his middle tom (which you can't hear on the album recording). There is another percussion instrument and I don't know what it's called.
  12. I'm surprised that it is stated as FACT on an OFFICIAL document that "Coldplay copied bla bla bla..." - how on earth is it a FACT that they copied the wanker's music? Surely it's nothing more than an opinion? Or is it a fact that it is Satriani's belief that they copied? I don't understand.
  13. Shiver In My Place Clocks Lost! - What's the name of the Bhangra-style percusison that's played underneath the main beat? I want one! Life In Technicolor ii - I can't get this beat out of my head!
  14. Yeah, 10/10 kind of indicates true perfection, which if we're being honest, is never really possible, is it? I'll change my 10 to a 9.
  15. The story was quite original if you ask me. How many other films are there about a guy who goes on Millionaire and who can connect every answer to an event from his life? It's so much more than an Indian take on Hollywood cliches (it's actually a British guy who directed it but I know what you mean). Yeah you might have guessed what happens from the very start but the journey to that ending and the charm of the actual story is what makes it so good. Not to mention the terrific acting, the fact that for the feelgood film of the movie it's incredibly heartbreaking and soul-destroying in places and that at the end you don't know whether to laugh, cry, smile, do back flips or scream, "Isn't life great?!" You're more than welcome to dislike it though :P
  16. Slumdog Millionaire - 10/10 Absolutely fantastic film. I want to go and see it again! I saw The Wrestler on Saturday - 7/10 I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I wonder how much of the film was intended to be about Mickey Rourke himself? I want to see Milk. I see you gave it 8/10, Ali.
  17. A PM about the next one would be appreciated thanks, Ali :) I've just been listening to the mixtape crazyduckette sent me last time - I love it and I want to go to Canada!

I quite like her. She's adorably cute.
  19. That's beautiful! Another circle. Palm leaves.
