  1. I just get really annoyed when people complain about too many "useless threads" or "pointless threads." We're at an INTERNET MESSAGE BOARD, would could possibly be said here that is truly useful? In addition, is it really that hard to just... you know, not click on those threads? (Yes, I know that I'm now an annoying complaining person too, but... uh... bite me :P )
  2. Because lord knows that up until now there have been lots of "useful" threads.
  3. Why on Earth would anybody actually watch that?
  4. I resent the fact that I have to add up my own score.
  5. american! buy american! (because they're actually better, not because i have anything against mexicans :P )
  6. I am Pepe e Pew You are a lover. Romance, flowers, and wine are all you need to enjoy yourself. You are serious about all commitments. A family person. You call your Mom every Sunday, and never forget a Birthday. Don't let your passion for romance get confused with the real thing.
  7. P-Bass has more of a deeper, mellow sound. Jazz Bass is more responsive with high end, and sounds a little punchier, and you have more tone options, because there are two pickups instead of just one, like on the P-Bass. I own a Jazz Bass, as it turns out, because that's the one I prefer.
  8. J.S. Bach - Prelude and Fugue in D Major

    KYLE IS LORD OF SMILIES!
  10. I don't even count that or the Division Bell as Pink Floyd, when I say "later stuff" I'm really referring to Animals, the Wall, and The Final Cut. :P
  11. Which song? :( That would be the ethereal beauty of "Vaka," (Untitled 1 if you're a stickler :dozey: ) with which they've opened most (if not all) of their shows for the past couple years. :)
  12. I used to loooooooooooooove Pink Floyd but I mostly only find myself listening to the earlier Syd Barrett stuff now, with the odd spin of Dark Side or Meddle. "The Wall" is such a boring movie, and way too heavy-handed for me, as was a lot of later Floyd stuff (The Final Cut in particular).
  13. Well, my Dire Straits enjoyment comes from the part of me that likes dumb rock songs that I know aren't really great "songs" but are still fun. The same part of me that likes Bruce Springsteen or AC/DC. So consider that a disclaimer. :P
  14. She said I know what it's like to be dead.
  15. Actually, I like Dire Straits.
  16. I wrote a song about that once when I was sitting in a park watching people pass by. But I hate it now, and I think that's been done a million times before anyway. :/
  17. I don't really have any religious beliefs, but I'd still like to think that something happens and that we don't just turn into a conscious-less bag of meat and bones. So in answer to your question, yes I've always wondered, but I see that as much more of an excercise in futility than wondering how or when I'm going to die.
  18. If you're considering me a "senior," then what I have to say is this: I don't think anybody really "loses" their dreams, but reality has a way of weighing them down, and it seems tough to make them a priority when there's so much pressure from all sides to make money and be responsible, or whatever it might be. I recall the words printed on the disc of A Silver Mt. Zion's first album: "Destroy all dreamers with debt and depression." It's depressing, but that seems to be how it works. :/ And I'm only 20 years old, imagine me when I actually have more than a year or two of "real life experience."
  19. It's giving me the willies just thinking about it. :P
  20. Back to the original topic here: you'll never guess what I just found in my room. :o
  21. That's probably for the best, because that's how people end up jumping off of cliffs and hurting themselves. :P "I had nothing, but felt like I had it all" That sounds nice, though.
  22. That doesn't sound berry likely, unless he considers July 5th soon. :P
  23. I'm glad you see my point of view. :P

I know, it's a symbolic elephant, I was making a joke. :P Since that's a place many people can only reach with drugs.
