boo, i was hoping for TNA to be out rather than optimistic. in that case, the next round wont be that hard for me. we are still going with two winners? and which album is next to do? i'm looking forward to the bends, in rainbows, and pablo honey in particular. i probably wont even vote in the amnesiac and HTTT ones...i still have a hard time getting into those albums compared to all the others.

gah, someone just vote TNA in the next hour and 15 mins to kick it off. even though the next round is going to be killer-hard.

those days suck.but usually things get better after you have a good sleep and wake up the next day. i know, i've had lots of them. actually three in the past three days. my problem seems to be that i've forgotten how to sleep again. i think a good nap might make things better :D (even though it is a new day down under now, and i hope youre having a much better one).

ooh, crests of waves!! i know they wouldnt put that on there because only coldplay geeks like us probably care about it, but that would be a killer one to have on there. shiver, like i say, would be absolutely brillo, but would probably only be worth it at the more difficult levels.

i try to stay away from GA, personally, because i'm rather short and wouldnt be able to see anything unless i waited in line for like 6 hours, which doesnt appeal to me too much, despite my love of radiohead. someday i'm gonna do it, though, perhaps if i see a band twice on one tour so i can see them well once and get the GA experience/chance of being really close once. but if GA is the only option i have for seeing them at all, i'd totally do it for a band like radiohead or coldplay, but for more "rocking," harder bands, i'm a bit wary. i dont like crowds, i dont like being squashed or pushed aside, and i really dont want anything to do with slam-dancing or crowd surfing. i was GA once for bob dylan, now that i think of it, but everyone was so high around us that it wasn't too hard to push them aside and get to the front :laugh1:

i'll probably get the mug eventually, i think, maybe this summer. of course i'll read off everything on it!! so i'd just take a close-up picture of the text and post it. i think 42 is the best album title out of all the track names that were given to us, but i dont know...it seems kind of cliched to me somehow, even though i cant think of another album that has a number as a name off the top of my head. i'm still kind of pulling for something that they havent told us for the title, like one kick-ass track name that theyve been keeping from us. of course, i like 42 MUCH better than prospekt :D

shiver would be hard, but that's a good one. also daylight, yellow, fix you (well, not really...only at the end), talk...there are lots. why havent they done this before? i think they would make the perfect guitar hero songs!!

i've only had one really bad experience with ticketmaster, and that was trying to see paul mccartney. that was the only time i didn't get tickets and i was extremely upset, but luckily i found ones on ebay that were cheaper than face value and were not too bad of seats, either. i must say that i've never gotten the perfect seats to anything (well, once i had great seats at coldplay, but i wasnt the one that got those tickets), but i much rather be there in ok seats (even fairly bad seats) than not be there at all. i've got my ticketmaster technique down, but if w.a.s.t.e is recommended, i suppose i'll do it that way. i'm kind of nervous that i'll end up empty-handed simply because i'm not used to w.a.s.t.e and i haven't bought tickets in like a year and a half. i'm a bit out of practice.

i hear we might get the north american tour dates this coming week!! i'm quite excited if that's the case. must get my credit card ready. question, though: do the tickets go on sale from w.a.s.t.e right when they announce the dates, or is there some lag time? i kind of hope that they tell us the dates and then they go on sale a few days later so i have some time to work out which place would be the best to see them and who wants to come with me. i suppose i could order from ticketmaster as well...i'm a bit of a seasoned veteran with ticketmaster :D

i've been debating buying this for some time. i really should just do it! the 42 thing intrigues me too...thanks for posting the links again so i don't have to search for it!

i think coldplay do amazing b-sides. i get ridiculously excited for singles simply for the b-sides. its like christmas.

nice, dave!! i had a binder that i kept them all in, but eventually i put them on my wall at home and my mom took the binder because she has waaaaaay more ticket stubs than i do. and why is your coldplay ticket so pretty?! is it a backstage pass?

ohhh yes. preferably pizzas, nachos, pretzels, soda, and ice cream, among other things. this thread makes me want to go have this type of party with all of my friends. we were rather great at the low-key party.

haha, my brother has the sweatshirt that chris is wearing! or one very similar to it...it has that logo on it.

i think coldplay helps so much because the lyrics to a lot of the songs make it seem like chris has been through the same things. it like, keeps you company and helps you get out of it at the same time.

i like small, quiet parties where i know everyone in attendance. but i need good friends, junk food, movies, music, good conversations, and lots of time. just a relaxing, nice night sans drama, craziness or time constraints.
