whoops seems like i jumped the gun a little on the whole arsenal meeting man utd in the carling cup. the fixtures are actually drawn tomorrow!! and i really hope they dont draw each other actually cos if one of them get knocked out the next best team is villa :S

ahh yes the monthly guilty pleasures thread i actually quite like some paramore songs. dont know what any of them are called but they have a decent sound.

wow cant believe nobody ever made a Hot Chip thread (well i found one from 2006 but that had like 2 replies) love their latest One Life Stand and i saw them live back in august. cant say they were as good as i expected them to be but it was still enjoyable. 30mins of the show i went to was broadcast on tv and i recorded it. so after my exams are over i will try and upload it.

alrighty i have a decision to make. do i renew my subscription with jjj mag for $56.86 or do i re-subscribe for $62.55 and get a free copy of the Like A Version CD/DVD which includes a 21 track compilation of covers and 16 track dvd of the same covers. so basically the cd/dvd is costing me about $6 hmmm anyways a few posts ago i gave a possible schedule for triple j presents in november. here is the official schedule Nov 1 Eddy Current Nov 8 Temper Trap Nov 15 Bliss n Eso Nov 22 Parkway Drive Nov 29 Angus n Julia Stone i will only be recording Temper Trap and A+J Stone.

yeah i wouldve liked to have seen a sideshow but BDO falls right in the middle of summer school campus sessions so i think i'll be giving everything BDO related a miss. but a few of my good mates are extremely disappointed, i gave them false hope that tool would do sideshows in sydney. so i might need to spend the next few weeks keeping my distance from them........:S

Tool have announced sideshows in brisbane and melbourne and not in sydney. this might be common with most of the BDO sideshows as sydney has 2 while the rest have 1.

if their sydney sideshow doesnt sell out fast i might go see them at both the festival and sideshow! :D

ive only seen them once which is enough for me as i was impressed but not blown away by their debut. man google ads is creepy. as soon as we start talking about "mags" whats the main ad on the page.......blackoutmag.com reminds me of a scene from the tom cruise movie Minority Report where he is walking around a shopping centre and all the advertising boards around him are capable of reading his mind so they show ads relating to what he is thinking......:S when i first saw that scene i thought what total BS but now it seems more and more realistic.
