LRLRL D/LOAD LINK! Plus REACTIONS/RESPONSE to LRLRL Live Album
I also am downloading. Going at an okay speed. They really should have released it as a .torrent not a ZIP archive 172 KB/s

Coldplay Better Indoors or Outdoors?
The Clocks laser was amazing! When Will said on storytellers it put a roof on the world, he was not lying. At all. The atmosphere is really great. Especially an nice summer night. Sound for me was iffy for the first half but after that I noticed no difference. In fact it sounded just as good as a Arena. Each has a set of pros and cons. I'll rule in on June 20th

Summer Setlist different than first two legs of tour? [2009]
They'll add to the Arena shows too. They have played the same set in North America twice now. Im hoping for a loooong U2/Springsteen/NIN show. Then I will enjoy myself. Also since Im seeing them back to back, maybe play 3-4 old songs one night, then 3-4 different old songs the next. As long as Politik stays, I am happy!

X&Y album would have been better...
I love the album how it is. I would have cut A Message, and made Hardest part the piano version they do now. Then reworked Fix You a bit, changed the chords so Chris could sing lower and fix the harmony at the end. Not much to change. Good album overall

The Quest for the Stanley Cup 2009
The Hawks will not be able to come back against the Canucks. They easily have the strongest Defense in the league behind Detroit and Boston. On par with the Ducks. They will do to the young guns of the Hawks what they did to the Blues. Push them to the outside, reduce traffic in front do Luongo can makes the saves Kipper can't. It'll be a different series then that against Calgary. Hawks will get mad if they cant beat Lou and start gripping to tight and just lose it. It'll be a low scoring series.

Most melodious/catchy music in the world?
Light Through the Veins - Jon Hopkins As a matter of fact, any Jon Hopkins

U2
They are holding back cause they are in the studio working on another album right now.

Kings of Leon
KOL are an over hyped band. I dont like most of their early stuff. and the OBTN would have been a great album done by any other singer. This guy sounds like Eddie Vedder blended with Chris Martin with Bono on top. Glad I sold my tickets at double face value, good down payment on some hockey tickets.
-
Kings of Leon
I dont actually like them. Im considering not going to the concert and just selling the tickets to my friends. Kings of Leon are a whinny Pearl Jam
-
What artist can't you stop listening to today?
Green Day and Kings of Leon

Sting and The Police
I didnt mind Fiction Plane, nothing special though. And in no way as good as his dad, or The Police. Kind of a Travis/Elbow type band.

Sting and The Police
Well this thread is ancient. I have recently gotten into The Police again, got the DVD and am in love with it. If you look at my sig you will see I was at the tour opening. Easily the most surreal experience of my life. Got tickets, last minute and they were good. Went fairly early, and you could feel it the second you got near GM Place, the excitement, disbelief among everyone there. It was finally happening. Luckily, Im only 17(15 at the time) so the wait for me wasnt bad at all. My dad was one of those who though it would never, happen ever. Well we sat through Fiction Plane, which I didnt mind. Then, the electronic banner, one was bright white, then dark. For half an hour, every 30 seconds we thought the lights went out. Till They did, Get Up Stand Up started playing, 3 minutes later, Stewart hit that gong. The next 90+ minutes were pure amazement. They were so good, not smooth. But still, Stewart memorized me completely. Andy, was on fire, on form and bloody brilliant. Then there was Sting, in league of his own. Singing was great, bass was smooth and posh. The show as many of you know, was low frill, but they made up for it with heir musicianship. Best concert experience of my life. I will never forget that historic night

Recording the audio to concerts
Go out to your local music shop, and buy a handheld audio recorder. Ask for something that records good quality and can last 120+ minutes, you may want the opener. Quality varies too as where you are sitting, and how loud people around you are. I intend to record my shows, the first one will be the best. I will be able to put it on the ledge, and forget about it. ITs to dark for security to notice either. Another option for you guys, if they have them, cupholders.

Your favourite 5 bands at the moment... in no order are...
The Police - Really been getting into them again.Best band ever, musicanship wise, these guys were simply the best. Snow Patrol - Can sound the same after a while, but I like them. So its all good. Plus Im seeing them with Coldplay Coldplay - As always in my top 5, obvious reasons, although not on repeat lately. Audioslave - I love Chris Cornell with theses guys, first two albums are the best rock albums since Ten. U2 - Re-listened to No Line On The Horizon, Im starting to appreciate it more, its a very mature album and demands a lot of respect.

Stage For Outdoor Shows [2009]
I can tell you for Pemberton, I observed what to me seemed like giant fire extinguishers. I suspected they held the butterflies, and sure enough they did. There were either 2 or 4, all maned by Rodies and they shot them right from the stage only. Have to say it was so freaking cool, with the blue sky, the colors of the butterflies and the pink lights. Another cool thing about the outdoor shows, the Clocks laser, when Will said it seemed like it never ended, he was not lying. I was in awe! Trust me, the show is amazing outdoors.

Stage For Outdoor Shows [2009]
I imagine so. They may dismantle for the Amphitheater, what they did for Pemberton was the B-Stage off to the side, I mean side too. But they'll still come out and play acoustic. Its easy to extend into the pit with a ramp though. Especially into GA, no seats, no problem. The one venue they are playing Im familiar with, The Gorge, has all stands then GA so maybe you are right. I expect something cool none the less.

Viva La Vida Album Cover on Magazine!!!!!
Its on the front of my T-shirt! We were in Socials class and my teacher asked me to get up so everyone could see the picture and he explained it. Was real awkward.
