  1. Yep. Barrier camped for Muse (yeah, I skipped Coldplay, lol) and The Vaccines played their stage early in the day. And yeah, I thought the t-shirt thing was funny. As if the giant Vaccines banner in the back didn't give you a clear enough idea of who they were. :laugh3:
  2. Okay, only took 3 so here you go:
  3. I'm sure Muselive and everyone else will record it, which is good since the stream isn't available outside the UK (smart idea, guys, only showing the stream in the same country the festival is being held).
  4. I wanted to go to ACL this year so so so so so so so badly, and not just because of Coldplay (seriously, Coldplay's like reason #5 at best why I'd go). I wanted to go to ACL before Coldplay was even announced to be on the lineup. Of course, school schedule doesn't allow me to do it since ACL runs in the middle of my semester. But if I got a free ride? HELL YEAH I'd drop whatever I had going on at school to go. Entered.
  5. Me too. But hey, you got Citizen Erased AND Butterflies & Hurricanes at your first Muse show. That's kinda freakin' awesome.
  6. That reminds me. I'm seeing The National next month. Without any more Muse tour, I'm forced to find other bands. :stunned:
  7. I'm sorry for calling it a crap when the correct term is a turd. :dozey:
  8. Stage image surfaced. Don't know how many of you want such things spoiled, but a quick Twitter search should hopefully guide you there. And Violet, you've missed nothing. Oh, except that KELLY WOLSTENHOLME IS PREGNANT AGAIN. :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:
  9. Come to think of it, I never shared my Vaccines photos from earlier this month. I only have a few but I'll get them up soon for you guys. :)
  10. The sad thing is that a lot of artists use autotune because they aren't talented enough to sound good without its help. Chris Martin, on the other hand, has sounded perfectly fine on 4 records without using autotune. Why does he need it now? I see no other explanation other than Coldplay wanting to "fit in" with the modern scene rather than rise above it. For a band that seemed to be heading down a U2-like stardom path, they're suddenly catering to the lowest common denominator for no reason.
  11. The studio version of Charlie Brown will be a chipmunk recording. Just watch.
  12. That's my friend's OoS nails featured in that pic! She showed me those a year ago. Aldso, I am drunk, good nigt. :)
  13. Friend got a ticket. Very jealous but happy for her, since I don't think she's seen SP live before. She generally takes a ton of video at concerts, so if she records any new songs, I'll be sure to link you guys to them. :) (Also, I'm pretty sure Fallen Empires will kick the crap out of Mylo Xyloto quality-wise. I can say that here, right?)
  14. Ghosts and You've Got the Love are the two I'm more lukewarm on, though I don't think YGTL was originally meant to be on the album.
  15. It's definitely the weakest of the 4 I listed, but I prefer it to a few other songs on the album.
  16. I've finally stopped laughing at the reality of Wolstenbaby #6. Oh wait, I've started laughing again. Never mind.
  17. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=am6rArVPip8&feature=player_embedded]Florence + The Machine - What The Water Gave Me - YouTube[/ame] Album #2 due November 7th. Paul Epworth has produced everything on it. He was behind Rabbit Heart, Howl, Cosmic Love, and Blinding on the debut album (basically, the best songs on there).
  18. Coming up in 10 minutes. Good thing I remembered to tune in just now. Was busy freaking out over the Florence news.
  19. I haven't gotten their emails for over a year. Re-signed up for mailing list, but I'm a little ticked off because I have a good friend who will be in London that week and would love to go, and apparently the emails had some special code or something for a pre-sale. Ugh... EDIT; Never mind, we got her one.
  20. I was ready to throw my pacifier at Barney's support set while waiting for VeggieTales to come on stage.
  21. I saw Wolstie and Dom Anderson shirtless at the LA game last week. I decided to behave and not take a bunch of perv pictures (because a guy taking those pics would be really weird), but there were dozens around me who did.
  22. 20 people voted 9.1-10.0? Those 20 people have never heard of Pitchfork before. :laugh3: For the record, guys, Pitchfork is actually less tough on Coldplay than they are on a lot of other "mainstream" acts. Pitchfork actually bothers to run stories on them, though possibly because they know they have a lot of crossover appeal to their main reader audience too. They're harsh in general. I'm pretty sure that 10.0 they gave Kanye West is their first since Wilco in 2001.
  23. Green Album was okay, but let's be honest - everything after has been kind of a joke. :laugh3: Their best song in the past decade is a State Farm jingle.
  24. Let me rephrase that - I need a new band to stalk THAT ACTUALLY TOURS NORTH AMERICA.
