Deja vu? Liam Gallagher disses Coldplay's (and U2's) fashion yet again.
There has to come a point where these Liam Gallagher stories stop being newsworthy whatsoever, but I thought I'd at least share this one with you. http://www.nme.com/news/daily-gossip/50288 As you know, this is not the first time Liam has attacked Coldplay's choice of clothing, as he also did after the 2009 Grammy Awards. Seriously, though, does this guy ever get old? He's such a riot. I guess we can chalk this up as another one in the "Insult collection" thread. :P

Please watch this clip!!! :) :) :)
Yeah, I remember seeing this posted before, but I don't recall if it was Coldplay.com or this site that I saw it from.

Coldplay say YES! to Glee
Although I don't watch Glee, I know it's far from "teenage commercialism". Most teenagers probably wouldn't appreciate it, actually. Still, I'm glad they said no, mainly because I'm not sure their songs would translate well to the series . On that note, I'm almost positive they'd have used Viva La Vida, since it's the most easily adaptable to that kind of arrangement.

My thoughts on the end of VIVA
Am I the only one who feels as though Viva has seemingly gone on forever? :inquisitive: We should be thankful for such lengthy touring, of course, but I'm more than ready to move on by this point. Yeah, we've finally hit the inevitable news lull that will last us for at least half a year, I'd imagine (come on, the boys need to rest), so I guess we'd better prepare for plenty of reminiscing, but I'm not sad about it. Hell, I'm happy. :) Great tour, got to see them twice, and looking forward to LP5!

The Snow Patrol Thread
Hello, Teddies! :) A little late, but I just read Gary's blog about his jaw. Poor thing, although the way he wrote it is somewhat amusing. And he's apparently been in LA for a while, which means I should totally stalk him by calling up a few hospitals and asking, "Hey, did some Lightbody fellow happen to come around recently?" Not that they'd disclose that information, of course. :P

As the Viva-era concludes, let's re-listen.
Goodnight! :D Here I lie on my own in a separate sky... Gonna go get food before listening to LRLRL, which I'll come back to later.

According to my stoner friend, Rainy Day makes him trip out. :laugh3:

She & Him
Ben Gibbard beat us both. I suggest we hatch a scheme to kidnap and torture him. :P

Postcards from Far Away So simple yet so beautiful. And you people who claim you're done still need to listen to B-sides and LRLRL. :P

That's a "skip" when I get to it. :laugh3: Gonna take a bathroom break at the end of DAAHF before moving on to Prospekt's March. EDIT: I'm Michael, for those who couldn't already tell from the user title.

Ah...Violet Hill. Remember when this song was first released? Good times, good times.

Don't care for "Yes", but I do love myself some "Chinese Sleep Chant", so I think I'm gonna cheat and skip to the 4-minute mark. :P

Lovers in Japan / RAIN OF BUTTERFLIES :D I mentioned this in the Random Coldplay Thoughts thread, but one of the girls in my World Cultures class has a binder that's decked out in Coldplay butterflies.

Heh, looking forward to that. The leaks are even better. I remember I joined this forum the day that Prospekt's March leaked and pounced on the initial excitement. "Lost!" now. I like the song, but the more I think about its lyrics, the bigger headache I get. It and "42" are just lyrical atrocities, although great songs musically.

Okay fine, I'll join the party. :dozey: Since I just got out of class, though, I'm only on Cemeteries. Forgive me.

She & Him
That video is adorable. Zooey is also adorable in general. She's always been my "celebrity crush", and doggone it, she's also a decent singer.

Making a double post to bring you...Stop for a Minute (not my vid): [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz8W7ydXRrs]YouTube- Keane ft. K'Naan - Stop for a minute.mpg[/ame] Honestly? After two listens, I think it may be the worst Keane song ever. I thought "Clear Skies" was okay, but this is like a really bad Top 40 pop song (and Keane has some really good pop songs). K'Naan adds nothing but pain toward the end. Feel free to disagree with me, though. ;)

The official **KEANE** thread
Keane's website says that the song being played tomorrow will indeed be "Stop for a Minute", which is the lead single of the EP. I'm anxious about this one.
