No, not really, because I'm also surprised. I expected more divided reactions but they are ALL positive. Also the reviews in the german iTunes store - only 5 stars. Great to see how they love this new and fresh tune.

Can I give around 30 times ten points for all the lovely twitter comments on Mylo Xyloto? I read for the last hour there because some iTunes stores sell the new album now and all the reactions are more than great, really.

Haha...Latin America Edit. :D Yeah, don't know why, but this song fits perfectly between Up in Flames and DLIBYH. I really enjoy it, it makes me feel happy and it makes me smile. This more happier version of MX shows how the things turn into something good at the end of the story/record.

Yes yes yes yes! This is so disappointing, really! I was so suprised of the organ an the arrangment of the song...I was totally blown away before this part of the song but I was looking forward to hear Wills and Chris' voice together in this part...but no...no sweet duet. If they had made Wills voice more prominent this song would be totally perfect. So its only perfect. The only thing I have to critizise, the rest of the production is surprisingly beautiful! (Same problem with the "Light a fire, light a spark, light a fire a flame in my heart"-part in Charlie Brown!).

As a person who clearly hate hip-hop and R'n'B its quite surprising that I like Paradise in a way. Ok, there is no comparism how I like the other songs on Mylo which are more coldplayish but its suprising that I accept Paradise as a good song of Coldplay while hating Princess of China. I'm just so disappointed by the studio version but maybe my expectations were too high after the mind-blowing live performance. Its the only song which is ruined by the production in my honest opinion. Very sad because there is a lot of potential in the song.

Maybe I should look inside the post box... ;) I also ordered it from Amazon. :P

And if they had edited it with some vocal effects everyone here would be sad because they "overproduced" this masterpiece. :P

For me the actual studio version is much better than the sky advert version. Nevertheless I can't get your points because a upbeat rock song like Charlie Brown works always better with a crowd because it seems like the song has more energy. Its like Clocks live or on the studio version.

I hope so much for Charlie Brown, Hurts Like Heaven or Don't let it break your heart. Hopefully not Princess of China because I think its the only awful song on this record and in my honest opinion I don't want that everybody recognise Coldplay by this song. But PoC is most likely...

They actually have tons of B-Sides. They wrote over 70 (?) songs over the past three years. Nevertheless I don't understand why they don't publish them...

For me I can't pick out one song. There are definitely a lot of songs which could be my favorite but it would be a shame to name just two of three of them. The star ist the album itself, the flow and the way how every song bleed into the next. Coldplay created such a intelligent album from beginning to end and this is what makes it so worthy - beside some beautiful songs.

In Germany also #1 since yesterday. Album comes out tomorrow. :)

Right, everyones taste is different and its everyones right to express your opinion. As I said at the beginning I just can't support the view because I see it the other way round (I love Mylo Xyloto and Viva and AROBTTH and Parachutes). But for me, some sentences of the review are just wrong and so the explanation why Mylo is bad in his/her view seems a bit ridicilous for me. It seems like he/she is looking out for some reason to dislike the album. This is the only thing which I critizise. The rest is personal view and I have to accept it and I have no problem to accept it because I see how Mylo polarize the people and that is what I predicted months ago.

You don't want to understand my point, right? If the review would have said: "Ok, very produced album and there are too many effects and thats why I don't like it and give it a C+" everything is alright. But there are some sentences like the comparism to Viva or with the best songs which aren't coldplayish and so on which creates the feeling inside me that its more a "I want to hate the new record and I desperately look out for some reason". And the statement about Viva and Mylo and the innovation is clearly wrong. Its a fact. I just have to look at the variety of musical genres, of details, different instruments and the vocal effects. There is much more innovation on Mylo than on Viva - but tis circumstance can be seen as bad, I know, and thats ok for me. I know that this album will polarize and so I accept everyone who don't like it, but they shouldn't tell lies, thats all.

What do you want from me. You said I'm a fangirl and thats why I don't support the bad review on Mylo. By the way its such a shame for a member with so much postings to come up with "uuuhhh you blind fangirl...". I explained you why I think that the review isn't good, because there are some logical errors and so it seems a bit like they trying to find something to critizise. But thats just my impression and I always stated that only I can't support this review. Don't get me wrong. I'm aware that this album will polarize and its ok if someone don't like it. But if he/she feels so and decides to write a review, please be serious and a bit more fair.

True because the old-fashioned, conservative Coldplay-Fans who think they are the die-hard core while listening to Such a Rush and Co. don't like something with move forward character? The same question... Wrong for me because of the sentence that Mylo Xyloto missed innovation in comparism to Viva. Sorry, but against Mylo Viva looks like the kind and shy daughter in terms of experimentation and variety. With all the different colors, genres and details we can clearly state this. (That doesn't mean that you eventually prefer Viva).

Ok, this is something I can agree. I'm aware that there are perfect pop songs like Charlie Brown or Hurts Like Heaven but I can't understand some critics on Paradise for example which meant that Coldplay goes Mainstream like Black Eyed Peas, Gaga or Perry. There is a strong instrumental and experimental character in the song which describes nearly every song on the album perfectly and can't be seen as pure "Gaga-Pop".
