Satriani case over???
This is old news. But here's my two cents: If satriani had any integrity as an artist, he wouldn't have settled out of court, he'd follow through with the lawsuit, finally proving what we all had suspected: he's a jealous money sucking vampire.

Best individual live song
I think the scientist or lovers in japan in the second leg of the viva tour were the best.

The Scientist

I probably like it the best because the VLV tour was far better than the other tours.

FANATICS BEWARE: Brothers & Sisters EP
Today I bought the Brothers & Sisters EP from my local HMV. There was only one copy there on CD, so I had to get it. OBVIOUSLY this is a reissue by Fierce Panda. It was released sometime after AROBTTH, but has still become incredibly rare. Hopefully those of you who are interested can find this at your local music store. Retailed at $8.99 Canadian. Songs: brothers & sisters, easy to please, only superstition Here are some pictures:

The Eno Effect
Seems people always think bands sellout after their first few albums. It's called musical progression. And if you really think about it, nothing will ever live up to most of your expectations. The band had their entire lives to write songs for their first few albums, after that, they are restricted by time. So obviously they won't be as fulfilling as the last.

What's Your Setup?
My Equipment: Fender Thinline Telecaster '72 (Limited Edition) Marshall Amp Combo Current Pedal Lineup Boss DD-3 Delay Digitech Whammy WH-4 Dunlop Original Cry-Baby Wah Wah Boss DS-1 Distortion and RV-5 Reverb (Currently not in pedal lineup) Fender Jazzmaster Bass Epiphone EL-00 Acoustic Yamaha DGX-630 Keyboard Not pictured: Yamaha Electric Guitar Fender Stratocaster (rip-off) with custom killswitch added

What keyboard should I get?
I find that the actual piano sound on the DGX630 is far from a real grand piano. The 640 has a lot better piano sounds.

Fender Telecaster Deluxe '72 opinions
I'd say the American Deluxe Telecaster and the Thinline are Fender's best guitars. I have demo videos of me playing coldplay songs on my youtube you can check it out at youtube.com/tym218

Acoustic Amplication
It's snot necessary really, but if you only play acoustic then you'd probably want an acoustic amp. When it comes to acoustic amps fender is the way to go.

Advice on my electric?
jonny uses humbuckers for his live performances

Advice on my electric?
Most guitar stores do repairs and installation. And as far as deciding what you want, just think of your favourite artists and what kind of pick ups they use on their guitars. If you want a sharper sound, I'd suggest humbuckers or something similar. If you want a smoother sound, go for single coil.
-
Advice on my electric?
90% of the time, the sound is mostly because of the amp. but your guitar sounds pretty busted up. if one of the pickups is damaged, thats probably your problem. I prefer having humbuckers (like jonny uses live) but many prefer single coil (like a strat).if your guitar is fixed and you still dont like the sound, try getting a new amp or playing around with it's settings.

Multiple Inputs Recording on GarageBand....?
I'm not too sure that possible for home recording. Theres mixers called multi-track mixers but they aren't the most affordable thing.

Multiple Inputs Recording on GarageBand....?
What i do is record one, then record the other while listening to the first recording. Plus you wanna record in stereo instead of mono, stereo is better. Mono mixes the right and left channels into one track therefore you'd hear all the tracks the same out of the headphones. With stereo you can for example pan the guitar a little bit to the right and bass to the left and center the vocals and drums.
