I never listened to the leak, but aside from Up&Up, the production value sounds very crisp and clean to me. For what it's worth, I'm listening with Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's.

When I pre-ordered Fallout 4 earlier this year, I remember pooping my pants close to the release date because Amazon changed the shipping date by a day. Not sure what happened, but it went back to normal shortly thereafter, so it may just be a glitch of some kind! :)

What a great way to open the album. I love the fade-in. Ironically, the last time we had that was with Life in Technicolor.

When it premiered, I loved it. But it got bland very quick. Mostly because the recording(s) we had were very low quality and grainy. I didn't expect to like it a lot, but somehow the studio version gained this bizarre sense of new of life and I absolutely adore it now.

Holy shit, Coldplaying made me think this song was going to be the worst thing Coldplay has ever produced and will ever produce. It's not fantastic but I'll be damned if it isn't something I'd totally listen to over and over if I can find a way to separate it from Army of One.

Very good song. Right behind Birds and Fun for my favorite off the album. I just wish it were longer. :(

In terms of Coldplay instrumentals, this is my favorite yet. Colour Spectrum is about as good as M.M.I.X, but I am totally going to add Kaleidoscope to my writing playlist. It's charming and calming.

I was super disappointed on my first listen. It's grown on me since, and I do have to say the thing I love most about it is the transition from Chris to Jonny's solo. It flows well and seems like DAAHF's cousin in that regard. I still prefer the live version, but things change. I remember hating the studio version of HLH back in the day and now it's all I can listen to!

!!!!!! Musically, lyrically and melodically, this is Coldplay at their best. Tove Lo harmonizes beautifully and the progression really does a great job of moving you with the lyrics. Q said it best in regards to this being more emotional than anything on Ghost Stories.

First listen: Pretty good, not great. Second listen: Woah, this is rad. Third listen: I am in love. Help. I didn't expect to like this so much.

Goddamn. I went in thinking you guys were slightly exaggerating. How is this song so fucking great? Easily one of the best things they have ever put out.

My thoughts exactly. It's such a weird thing. Sometimes I feel like they do so to keep said publication from looking like they, as a whole, love Coldplay.

Not too surprised by the scoring, but damn I really don't care at this point. I feel very comfortable saying this is one of their best albums.

Listening now! I'm on Adventure of a Limetime right now, so I'll get to my thoughts after I finish the album!

Coldplay isn't basing their sound based off critical reviews, though. They have specified 1,000 times now they do it because they want to, and they straight up do not care if people don't like it.

God, this is so cool. Like others have said, this is about the last thing Coldplay hadn't done yet. Can you imagine headlining the Super Bowl and Glastonbury in 2016? How blessed is this band?

If you don't mind me asking, do the complaints about Up&Up seem invalidated now? It seems like the leak was quite low quality after all.

Just a little over 12 hours for me now! I am proud and surprised with myself that I didn't give in and listen to the leak.

I haven't listened to the leak, but is the quality really that much better? I have to say I questioned the comments about being unable to hear anything when they posted this video. What do you bet the piano is also much louder in the studio version too?
