Lord have mercy. :sad: I can truthfully say that O is the very first Coldplay song that has brought such strong emotion and tears to my eyes on first listen. Haunting piano, moving lyrics, and an outro that may as well reach out its arms to supply you with a kleenex. Chris' closure of the song had me feeling numb, but what really did it was the gorgeous outro that ended up putting Ghost Stories as a circular album. That was heartbreakingly well done. O, for me, makes the album and compliments Ghost Stories beautifully.

Unfortunately, the live version sounds a tad better to me. :sad: Still a lovely song, though. But dat interlude. :wink3:

When it premiered in March, I didn't like it too much, but came to adjust. The studio version improves on every live version we've heard so far, primarily with Jonny's beautiful work at the end of the song. It's still on the bottom of my favorites list, but significantly more enjoyable.

Didn't know how to feel about this one at first, but it's growing on me! The melody is probably one of my favorite things they've done. And for some reason, some aspect of it reminds me of Viva.

True Love is lovely. :heart: The solo at the end is one of the best and most unique things they have ever done.

Dumb question, but do you have the album version of the song from iTunes? The sound is very high pitched, then quickly fades out to the ambience of Midnight.
