  1. THAT WAS SO GOOD. Best episode in a long, long time. Season 5 is off to a great start. DAT POST-CREDIT SCENE.
  2. I'm going to say AROBTTH until they play it. And Square One.
  3. I don't even care. Cardinals all the way.
  4. Annie Hall It's a classic that I put off for too long.
  5. Can't get over how good this album is. I know a lot of people get tired of this electronica phase Thom has, but he does it so well that it doesn't bother me one bit. Though Atoms for Peace isn't a one-man band, the stability Tomorrow's Modern Boxes has over Amok proves to me Thom works best with what's most familiar to him. Guess Again, The Mother Lode and the perfect trifecta that closes the album out is just fucking splendid. I think I could listen to Nose Grows Some all day long without hassle. Such a mind-numbing, relaxing song.
  6. pls be new Radiohead But I'm leaning to either something Polyfauna or solo Thom.
  7. X&Y A Rush of Blood to the Head Ghost Stories Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends Mylo Xyloto Parachutes
  8. Goddamnit, Chris. Please don't do this again. Ugh.
  9. He's been doing this stuff since the Viva days.
  10. Oh, absolutely. I've learned to take everything Chris says as wishful thinking. Until/if it happens, of course.
  11. I'm taking these with a massive grain of salt, but I'd be ecstatic if they were true. Chris seems to have said a few times that they've been working on new material for quite some time now. I'd just prefer if it were a more true-to-Coldplay album. You know, loud, energetic, big.
  12. You have to understand that /r/Coldplay has grown significantly since February of this year. 1,250 subscribers have joined since Midnight was teased/released. No one is saying /r/Coldplay is a hub of Coldplay news, but let's not ignore the fact that it's becoming more and more popular over time. The moderating team has done a wonderful job getting it from nothing at all to something noteworthy. As for /r/music, I don't know anyone outside of the subreddit who actually takes that place seriously. It's just a circlejerk of the same music, 365 days a year. Luckily, we never have a problem with being bullied about liking Coldplay in /r/Coldplay, which was one of my biggest fears for the place when it first took off.
  13.   Damn, I can't wait. This season is going to be incredible.
  14. Lovely song! I don't understand the criticism. My expectations weren't too high, so I was pleasantly surprised. The harmony is very, very nice, as is Chris' "oooh's" near the end.
  15. Yesss. I'm betting they'll keep the solo. It's so good. Probably one of my favorite things about Ghost Stories overall.
  16. Exactly my point. I understand the tour was obviously much longer, but the tracks they changed out just seemed to be a bit more interesting. I'm not mad or annoyed, just wishing for more! :)
  17. Pretty average setlist, I guess. Everything's Not Lost is a nice change, but I'm getting tired of Til Kingdom Come and GPASUYF. Since there's only one more show on the tour, there's no reason to complain I suppose. Here's to hoping the next tour is more diverse.
  18. They've played O four times, so far. :) http://www.setlist.fm/stats/coldplay-3d6bde3.html

I'm sure most of it was because I was just a lame 15 year-old with shitty music taste, but when Viva released, I almost instantly changed my entire taste in music. It shifted from Christian rock to alternative rock in less than a year, and it's already grown out and expanded more in the six years since. Because of Coldplay, I've met some very close friends I never would have met previously, and I've gone places I never would have imagined had I never talked to the same people. It's incredibly cheesy, and a bit complex, but I have Coldplay to thank (in some way) for where I am today. I love that. And speaking of Viva, today's six year anniversary also marks the day I became a fan of Coldplay. Good times!
  20. Right At Your Door -- 8/10.
  21. Hey, that's me. Weird. I'd now like to take the time to capitalize Avicii, because that is bothering the fuck out of me right now.
  22. Another's Arms makes much more sense now.
  23. We know. You say the same thing every week. I'll admit I don't enjoy the album as much as I did, but the amount complaining on this site is pulling me away from even posting here.
  24. The first season is very slow compared to the rest of the show. I can assure you that if you make it to Season 2, you won't be able to stop. -- Silicon Valley
