Hm. I'd do that for Wembley, but will I do it for the O2.... Especially when I'm supposed to be doing my dissertation. Decisions.

^Ha. That's what I was thinking. That massive gap around the O2 means it will go up to 2 days, maybe even 3. :laugh3: But the Friday night works perfectly for me as I'm working on a Saturday, getting that off would be killer. So I'm going to go for standing on the Friday. Does anyone know how early you have to queue up at the O2 to get front row? (So much forward thinking)

I think Chris needs some voice coaching or something to get over the stammer that is ruling his life these days. I disliked the Wa-wa-wa more than the para-para. Because the wa'ing just sounded like Chris was going to start crying or something.

Yeah, I said happy birthday to it on Twitter. I remember going to see Coldplay (which is 2 years ago tomorrow) whilst listening to Muse on the car journey up. :awesome:

Now this is what I was expecting for the album. Not ETIAW/Paradise. This absolutely is lovely. Less processed, more depth and more Coldplay heart and spirit.

I get the feeling that it is a when. Like it's what they've named the timeframe. Or it could be a where, because 'the future' also can be a where. Egh.

I had the same dilemma. I've bought the deluxe version, or at least I've ordered it and my parents are paying for it as a Christmas present. That might be an option...?

Ha. That girl was responding to me and Megalomania... Megalomania said that Paradise was an embarrassment to Coldplay. She asked how blah blah. And I said 'because it's a poor excuse for a Coldplay song' And that was her response to me. I then responded and said that it was bland, run-of-the-mill pop and they've written better songs and by saying this is good it's accepting a second best sort of Coldplay. And then she agreed with me. So I'm a bit baffled by this. :laugh3:

For me I will listen to the album a couple of times through in its' entirety and see if ETIAW and Paradise suddenly make sense and click. If they don't then I will probably manually skip them on both my iPod and my CD player. I mean I hate not having complete albums on my iPod for integrity... But if I don't like the song I can easily skip it. My iPod is normally in my front pocket so it's easy enough

Soo, am I right in thinking I just got retaliated to in a rude way for sticking up for The Oracle? I'm confused about the edit... A Mod edit? She does indeed. The sort of anger being voiced in this post at her is pretty much breaking the new reminder as it's being hostile to a member of the forum (even if she's not going to come out and announce herself)

OoS is an amazing album. Completely and utterly amazing. It's my tied favourite with Showbiz. So I'm going to be over here advocating you getting both :awesome:

^It has nothing to do with that at all. Some of us don't like it and it has nothing to do with being rebels or following each other. I think the point is just because the vast majority of the general yhutoobz people like it doesn't mean the rest of us are wrong in disliking it.

This. This. This. I can't say I'm not guilty of it, because my initial reaction was anger and to lash out at the band, which is the wrong way to handle it. But I think more and more of what individuals are saying to one another is getting way out of hand.

I'd say that PoC is almost guarenteed to become a single now we know Rihanna is on it. I would say also I expect Charlie Brown and HLH to be released at singles at some point. But I think iTunes is merely highlighting the best tracks of the album that have recieved the better critical acclaim/people have already heard to highlight how badass it is. :sick:

Right first off, you thought for even a second that the person was independent? Of course that is laughable. It's part of the Coldplay.com site so the person is going to be closely affiliated with the band and so will have to convey positive expression of the band. Secondly, this is harsh beans. The Oracle doesn't deserve this sort of anger. She did nothing wrong. Yeah, I tend to agree I would of liked more of an explanation as to why it made sense to leave MTM off but include MM. But you can't go lashing out at her for it. Misdirected anger much? Where? As far as I'm aware NME slated it and Q completely bypassed even mentioning it.

^I am so not a true Coldplayer. I mean I haven't been to any of their concerts, been in any of their videos, have never stalked them, I don't have all their albums and singles, I don't have any lithographs and I certainly don't want a tattoo of X&Y-inspired proportions on me. (Actually to that last point, I don't anymore. I feel like until I know what Mylo Xyloto brings I'mma not going to ink myself with a Coldplay stamp. I'll just get my Muse tattoo done firsts). A true Coldplayer just blindly follows and laps up everything they ever give us. I mean god, objecting or questioning is so not the Coldplayer way.
