  1. Indeed it is. Although in this case I don't mind openly/explicitly taking sides... the side of the band.
  2. Well that makes me feel better. I'll give people currently online a half hour to state their case of why they think it should remain in the Coldplay section. If nothing supremely logical is stated... at that point I will move it to Entertainment & Arts. Ready, set, go.
  3. Argh. Frankly I'm just sick of seeing this thread in the Coldplay section at all. "Coldplay: The Band. The Music." Gwyneth is none of the above. Since she's an actress, maybe this should be in, I dunno, the Entertainment & Arts section?
  4. OBVIOUSLY I'd like to see how they perform without it. Yes, I know it won't sound the same, but that's kind of the point. If they can't get a song to sound like anything other than absolute crap without the playback, that's a pretty good indication that the song shouldn't have been recorded to begin with. And since I'm pretty sure that they are more than capable of making all of their songs sound great by themselves whilst performing live (without any "enhancing")... I think they should try it sometime.
  5. truth in advertising, yo Oh and I stumbled across this yesterday. I could watch this all day. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDQOvzFetxs]Beaking Bad - YEAH BITCH! MAGNETS! OH! - YouTube[/ame]

  7. Gonna buy a new set of tires tomorrow morning. Awesome, what an excellent way to spend my Saturday and my money.

    * moved from Lounge to Coldplay section * Cake is cute, but I'm pretty sure all that black frosting consists mostly of food coloring which is a bit eewww.
  9. I didn't take very many pictures at the Detroit concert, but I suppose this one is acceptable.
  10. The way this episode ended, my reaction was like Ralphie from A Christmas Story: "oohhhhh... fffuuuuuuuuuuuuddddggggge."
  11. I'll try to do mine no later than Saturday evening. You can get a little mini-tripod pretty much anywhere for super cheap. I got one for $10 a couple of years ago and it works great (it will even tilt in any direction and the legs are extendable); cameras have a little screw hole at the bottom made specifically for that purpose.
  12. Apparently we're supposed to get some storms or something. All quiet on the western front right now though.
  13. :surprised: I don't think I've seen that before. Regardless, water is better. WATER :mudkip: it's good for you
  14. I love how Dee is "closing down the thread due to the fact that anons are actually rating me and i feel weird", and then somewhat deleted her posts. IT WAS ME. I logged out then I voted all the options. Both of the math nerds tried to screw up the results by doing so (although one of them was still logged in at the time). Really, I'm not an axe murderer, I swear. REALLY. I SWEAR I'M NOT. :lips:
  15. I know I'm getting way ahead of myself here, but since 4 out of the 15 tracks aren't "original", I guess that means he would automatically be out of the running for an Academy Award (Best Original Score)? Kind of like he got the shaft for There Will Be Blood? edit: Side comment - I thought Joaquin Phoenix went all cuckoo and said he was never going to act again. Nice to see he's back.
  16. Yeah I Ran Away fo sho. When the lady at the Detroit concert approached us for the potential upgrade one of the questions she asked us was if there was one song we would give anything to hear them play live, that's what I told her (after pointing to my sign which had an I Ran Away refernce). She said, "you know they're never gonna play that, right." :bigcry:
  17. Cool, thanks! :D fyi, to make it easier for people I copied the instructions/guidelines to the first post in the thread.
  18. I completely skipped over this thread, I don't know why! I think I might submit something for this. It's a bit of a quirky idea; so if I do submit it, don't feel like you have to use it...
  19. Did he call each city "MOTHER F*CKING {city name}"? He did that in Detroit, I was hoping it was unique, but it probably wasn't. You went to the Chicago show? So you witnessed Amsterdam? I H8 U :snobby:
  20. That's what this show will do to you. Yet another great episode last night.
  21. This is a bit random, but I just love how even after all they've been through, Jesse continues to call Walt "Mr. White". So endearing.
  22. seeing a bumper sticker on the way to work that said, "I do whatever my Rice Krispies tell me to"
  23. If he actually made an accound and logged on (since you live in the same house)... we'd "know". Of course, he could always lurk here and stalk you without an account. At any given time I'd say about 80% of the people viewing the site are "guests" instead members (the number counts are on the main forum page). Yip, his brother. I wasn't aware of the relationship until sometime late last year. I'll give you imaginary interwebz $100 if you can correctly guess who.
  24. I was keeping him in my basement; I decided it was okay to release him into the wild once again.
