  1. Nah way ;P 1. Moving to Mars 2. Major Minus 3. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall And how is it were the last to comment on all 5 of the latest threads? [: ha Someone's talking over.
  2. lol thanks! [: So I did it. But I can't see it. idk if anyone else can.
  3. Sooo. I'm not gonna lie. I cannot figure out how to post a picture on here... :embarrassed: It says in the general forum FAQ's something about a 'managing attachments' below the message box but I don't see that anywhere. Sigh.
  4. Can't agree with this more. The shy, kind, gentle, etc. guys are overlooked. Because we're not a challenge to you. Because as Chris says, "I know you don't listen to me, cause you say you see right through me, don't you?". And we don't need to be changed or worked on like bad boys do. They have the swagger, the charms, the clothes, the confidence, the good looks but at heart they are more than likely aggressors, unfaithful, even abusive on occasion. So I can't sympathize with this whole thread. Because if you're ignorant enough to fall for the rouse they put on, then it's on yourself. And as for relationships, Lory (if I may call you that). They're really not necessary. Everything you could ever ask for is inside you. You don't need a boyfriend and frankly i don't think you need a deity either (but that's a different story). You can believe whatever you will. But you should try and find all the things you're seeking inside yourself. Like it or not, the only person who's always there with you 24/7/365/however many years is yourself. That's all there is to it. "You have to love yourself before you can wholesomely and genuinely love another." And it doesn't sound like you even like yourself in the first place. And if that's not enough, if you don't like you for who you are, then how can you expect others to? I'm not trying to be negative, just food for your thoughts. I try to workout love with logic but emotions are often illogical so. May not work so well.
  5. No, I don't want to follow Death and all of his friends. :[
  6. It would be somewhat encouraging to have an official release date for the album. But I still don't buy it, I don't care what publication prints it. If Coldplay doesn't say so, then it just gossip in my book.
  7. Chris is so humble. But he makes the CP fans out to be so incredible. I just find that perplexing. We're pretty cool but he/they are the amazing ones.
  8. I'd much rather get the tracklist first. :| I don't look forward to anything more than that. lol But you could very well be right. It's weird though. Chris said we'd get the title 6 weeks from that interview he did with Seacrest? That would mean mid August. :/ That's still another month. But it also suggests you could be right, about the title part anyway.
  9. I think it's a really nice effect. [: And rafaelchampion. Where did you get that artwork? It looks like the newer Coldplay artwork but I've never seen it. If you took it from something done/released by Coldplay could you PM me a link to the picture? If you did it yourself, job well done. :]
  10. Dancing in the Dark is a fantastic song, and just about the only by Bruce Springsteen song I do listen to or have on my ipod. While I'll admit there are some minor similarities, they are definitely not "exactly alike" as you put it. Especially considering the MX part has a great consistency in the synth rhythm than Dancing in the Dark. Also it doesn't have that signature drum beat. I'll be honest, he would have no case against Coldplay. Satriani had much more of a case than Springsteen would with this song. Both songs you proposed in question are amazing though.
  11. I imagine as amazing as always!!! ;D And probably something like we've already seen. No surprise there, you know?
  12. Yeah! [: I absolutely love that story! "It came together like a chemical reaction after I heard Jonny play the chords". It's simple yet brilliant. And that's what he did with A Message too! Another song I really love and one of their most underrated songs. hehe He said he wrote that one in the middle of the night while he was naked. I never get tired of Coldplay. I swear.
  13. Fair enough. I did. :| But. My Mom once went 2 weeks on 2-4 hours total after her nervous breakdown and she's still alive, ended up in the hospital- but still alive. So maybe it's not. I still don't think Chris stays up all night purposely. Sometimes he says he gets up really early when a great song idea comes to him and he struggles to work it out.
  14. Fatal? No. That's more like going 48+ hours on no sleep at all. But to this. Some people are just like that. They can function on little sleep. A friend of mine. I'd go to his house and stay over sometimes. And he literally functions on 2 hours of sleep a day. I don't know how but he does. According to scientific research, only 3% of the human population, which still equals 210 million people worldwide, can function well on less than 6 hours of sleep. I know he comes into school more full of energy and looking better rested than I do on 7 hours. Everyone's different.
  15. Don't Leave it Beckoning Your Heart
  16. Dude Chris is FREAKING AMAZING. If he was in fact up an hour ago at 5 am (well 12 pm here) he deserves so much respect. That is a very tough time to do anything coherent at all, even walk or put words into a sentence. That is true ambition and drive right there. This is a perfect example of why Coldplay is so amazing, beyond the music they make. They're four fantastic man who never cease to impress me or run out moments that make me love them even more. :D They should be called "The Fantastic Four", except the real deal in real life! :P
  17. hmm. That's a tough one. Demons Left in Bleeding Young Hearts
  18. Let's look at this. They didn't even FINISH deciding what songs are going to be on there yet. Or finish mixing all the songs for that matter. They didn't tell us the album title. Who knows if they even decided on it officially? So how would it possibly be before October? They still have to DO all of that. And promote it which takes forever if you don't know how capitalism works (it 'works' very poorly/awfully, I might add). Still have to make the millions of copies of the album once it's done. And still finish off the rest of the tour. For the last album they told us the title and tracklist in April, two months before it came out. That leaves it to come out no sooner than mid September. There you go. And like Coldplayingfrom Kansas said, those things aren't official. You can't trust what anyone says as we found out with that retarded "BBC 4 Chris Martin interview." Stupid bs.
  19. What they said was this "Dear friends We're about to play a bunch of summer festivals so it's as good a time as any to put out a new song. 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' will be available from download stores on Friday 3rd June at 12pm (BST), except in the UK where it'll be released on the stroke of midnight between Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June. We'll also stream it here on Friday and give it a run out at Rock Im Park. Love Will" I fail to see where they correlated it to the new album. Tell me where they said "This is the first single from our new album" because they never said that. And in fact it's very likely that it's not. It wouldn't make any sense to release it four months before the supposed release (and most realistic one as far as I can tell) in October if it was the first single. They normally do that less than a month beforehand.
  20. Ohh. haha I love Chris's personality, especially his sense of humor. He's epic.
  21. Thank you very much! [: Yeah :) And oh, really? :inquisitive: What'd he say? Do you know/remember? When I was trying to photoshop some of the pictures to make things clearer I swear that's what it said in the butterfly too! And actually yeah, I definitely do think that it could be a title. If this album has anything to do with media control and stuff like that, it works perfectly. The people are used as if the media has voodoo dolls of them and are making them do exactly what they want without mind or will. It sounds like a possibility. [:
  22. Dang! That's pretty crazy. Three whole years. :stunned: I'm glad you got to go! And it's been basically that since the album came out too. Just add a month or so. I remember going out specifically on the day it came out (first time I ever did that) and bought it and it was so amazing. :] Three years goes by so fast. I wonder where we'll all be by then. Where Coldplay will be. Hopefully we'll get the 5th album before then. ;) :P
  23. I'd definitely have to agree with this. Good find! Can't believe no one's commented on what you said already. 1) It makes a whole lot more sense 2) It sounds a hell of a lot better 3) There definitely looks to be a "1" in between the two words. It's not just some random line that goes down + to the left at the top of it. The new songs are all really great. No lie. But the thing for me is. I don't believe they wrote over 50 songs, maybe even 100 for this album (an insane amount either way) and THEN just decided they would give us songs that are going to be on the album for an EP? That's senseless. Why wouldn't they give us the BEST songs that DIDN'T MAKE IT to hold us over? They gave us a live album for free, Violet Hill for free, and they made two songs on VlVoDaAHF like Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love so you could get two songs for the price of one on iTunes. They did that THREE times in fact. So I really doubt they'd make us pay for the same songs twice. It's not like them. And I honestly believe ETIAW, Major Minus, and Moving to Mars are exactly what I said. The best songs that didn't make it on the album. What you're also forgetting (not to be a butt here) is that there was a limited space on the album already. And that's not even including Chris writing all these 'brilliant new songs' as Will said on a twitter post. So I really don't think all the songs are going to make it on the album like I said before- whether or not they were planning on having that happen in the first place. And a major rule in their studio is keep things mysterious. I'm pretty sure "play half of the songs going on the new album live on 50 different occasions" doesn't exactly fit with that premise. It just doesn't work from any angle you look at it from. And of course they're going to remember the new songs. It's a Coldplay concert. How could you forget anything from that experience? It's got to be the best thing in the world! I honestly believe more than likely MX/Hurts Like Heaven and Charlie Brown will make it. Us Against the World possibly as well. The rest, I just don't see it. I'll bet there's still 15 songs in the run for the new album we haven't heard yet. I really wish they'd finalize the tracklisting though :|
  24. I would be extremely surprised if it don't. It's seems too integral to the album to be left off at this point. 1) It has the fuzzy man which may end up being the album cover 2) It has the MX precursor which has received a lot of artwork/notice. 3) It's completely about graffiti for Pete's sake. Which is the whole theme of the album and everything they've been doing it seems (along with UFO's and movements). I don't see how it wouldn't make it on there. I would bet money on it.
  25. I know how tired everyone probably is of all the speculation. But since we still don't know anything new...and I'm curious to know...which of the new songs do you think will make it on LP5? I mean, I don't know. I've struggled with this day and night. There's so many ways to go about it and so many different conclusions to make. There is absolutely no wrong answer here. But I just think of it like. As much as I love Moving to Mars  I really don't think any of those three songs are going to be on there. I say that because I don't realistically think Coldplay would do that to us (make us pay for music on the album that we already had to buy the first time). The only time they ever released an EP, and then included a song from it on the next album was the Blue Room and that was 12 years ago. :P I think if any of the songs will make it, it will be my least fav. but still great ETIAW. But even then, Christmas Lights was (I believe) just a one-off thing. I think they released the EP to tie us fans over until the album comes out. And if they've had literally over 50 songs to work on, there's other ones they've probably finished I'm sure and could've given us instead. But they didn't. I picture this as the best of the songs that didn't make the album. And I know Chris had mentioned ETIAW as an important song in that article a few months ago. But they said the same thing about Glass of Water and Famous Old Painters for the last album and still ended up leaving them off the album so yeah. I don't really think Princess of China will be either- it sounds a lot like something from VlV and they're always looking forwards not backwards. The only reason I think they stopped playing it live those is because of the insane bassline that drowned out the rest of the music. Probably didn't work they way they had hoped. I am incline to believe Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown, and Us Against the World will be on the album (or at the very least the first two). Hurts Like Heaven has the fuzzy man which seems really significant and is full of lyrics relating to graffiti so for me that one is a no-brainer. Charlie Brown receives such a HUGE response live I don't think they'll leave it off either. It's very anti-establishment with the riots and the running wild and freedom and in that respect reminds me of the White Rose movement they had talked about. Plus Phil had said "the crowd greets it as an old favorite, and one day it will be." So to me that's definitely saying something. For Us Against the World, it hasn't been released and maybe it won't be after all. But I don't think Coldplay will discard it if just for the fact that the Chris/Will singing piece is so exhilarating it's enough to take your breath away. This sounds like one of the older songs because they originally wanted everything stripped down (which it basically is) and based on a very personal, intimate story. Whereas the other two are a lot more fleshed out, soaring, and sound related to a mass movement. It doesn't exactly fit with Hurts Like Heaven or Charlie Brown but It's still an amazing song regardless. Sorry I write so much and make so many threads by the way. I imagine this gets annoying after awhile. :| lol
