  1. I think it's good that they don't do so many small concerts and just a few each tour, it kinda makes it more enjoyable to go to one of their intimate gigs, more special I guess you can say. Kind of the reason why I always try to go to bands' concerts before they get massive, really get to know where they're coming from before they explode in the media.
  2. Very excited for this movie! Brilliant actors, directors, writers and producers on board!
  3. I like the idea of having a song with only Chris and his piano alone, but I think i'd like it even more if it were sort of a hidden song after a grand song. Similar with what they did with Everything's Not Lost! I would also love another song that have rapidly delivered lyrics, listening to Anichrist Television Blues right now actually aha. I really hope they explore the more artful side of themselves, music similar to Viva and Arcade Fire. I use to really want an acoustic record, but lately, been dying for them to simply make whatever record they would want, an album filled with acoustic, heartfelt or stadium songs, whatever the case may be.
  4. I think that's all it's trying to do, a kind of song that just wants the listener to feel good inside, and personally, it succeeds. The song is excellent at what it's trying to accomplish.
  5. I hardly think it's the worst coldplay song, it juss has Rihanna and she didn't do bad on it, she did relatively good. The only thing that I find is bad about it is that there's not enough Chris, if there were, it would prob be one of my faves.
  6. I don't think it really matters, the band themselves says that if someone bought the cd, listens to it in their car or something and enjoys it, they succeeded. I kinda see it in that way.
  7. Green Eyes for today, been skimming through their old song recently
  8. I'd have to say Live 2012, it just seemed more alive. I didn't like some of the effects though, but one that I really enjoyed was the lyrics popping up during DLIBYH. I also really appreciated the small excerpts of behind the scenes between every couple of songs, really showed the two sides of all the concerts they do.
  9. I don't remember exactly but I think it was either The Scientist, or Yellow.
  10. Violet Hill Rainy Day Life in Technicolor II Strawberry Swing Yes
  11. That would be amazing, and with the addition of Up With the Word type vibes !
  12. I don't know, I feel like the lyrics in MX didn't have to be their best work or anything, simply lyrics that showed what MX was all about, and it seems like it succeeded in that way. Paradise didn't have lyrics that were on the same level as Viva or Rush of Blood but it did lend to the song itself pretty well. We all know Coldplay can write great lyrics with great melodies already, MX is just something different and LP6 will be too.
  13. I don't really mind with the lack of b-sides, always thought the Mylo era was more about simply being fun and outside the box, focusing more on the concerts, instead of releasing songs for each single. At least we got a live dvd coming.
  14. Damn, didn't even know every song had one, thought it was just the singles
  15. I don't know, Mylo Xyloto still seems pretty new to me, it still has that excitement to it I find.
  16. I'd have to say The Scientist, have been since the first i listened haha
  17. Personally I really wouldn't mind them taking a break for a couple of years after their tour, also wouldn't mind seeing an album from them until 2015 or maybe even 2016. The band really loves to change it up, and by that time, they'll be in a completely different point in their lives, enough to produce an album that is ridiculously different from both MX and Viva, something we all know they love to do =p. Plus, it'd be nice to see Coldplay return from the dead after 5 years with yet another album, topping the charts, winning grammys, and headlining festivals. I can't say I won't be at least a little bummed if they'd be gone for that long, but once they get back into the studio and stage for so long, wouldn't help but tear loool.
  18. They're probably just focusing on making the Live DVD right now, which will most likely be released later this year. To me, this era doesn't seem like an era that should have very many songs (definately more than what we have now though =P) but an era that is simply trying to really succeed with flying colours and brilliant rhythms, something I have no problem with.
  19. Oh how i miss it, but I'm for sure still happy about the MX Era. I just wished they did that acoustic album during the Viva era too, who knows how many heart filled songs would've been there =S.
  20. Personally, I find the album was superb, but it did have its flows. I find each song was so different than the text, so it kinda felt off balanced, but the story stayed strong. While I loved Moving to Mars, i'm sort of happy it wasn't on the album, i just don't think it would've fit with the rest of the songs =S. Id probably give the album 8.5 out of 10.
  21. I don't think they're done, Chris Martin said himself, that he just can't get enough of writing, wherever and whenever. I can see them releasing a live album sometime next year, since the songs on MX sound so good live, then tour and maybe take a break. After that, they might end up doing that acoustic album they wanted to do. With this album, they tried to really make a bang and make sure that people knew they can make huge and exciting music, and I think they really succeeded. That's pretty much how I see things.
  22. Personally, I love it. =) It looks like it has so many messages built into it, like lyrics and probably different graffiti by different artists. It has a lot going on in it.

That was actually very good, keep it up. I honestly can't wait for this song to be released, it's one of my favourite songs of the new era and there isn't even a standard quality of it yet =o =P.
  24. Damn, that would be pretty awesome.
  25. Yeah, I would feel like it would be a little too predictable, plus it looks like they're trying to change up their tactics and style, so they may use ETIAW. While I love MTM, I hope it stays in the EP.
